the design is from a from scratch XOR gate design, then i modified 2 next to each other to make the group of 2 tileable, so in order to tile you do need to do an alternating pattern for each bit, fundamentally the only difference is the designs of the and gates in each bit, also the first 5 blocks from the right aren’t necessary to it functioning, that’s just for the input translation

I love how this near completely negates the speed benefit of CCAs. Try building vertically rather than horizontally. It’s easier, can allow for much faster designs, and is more compact most of the time.
