    I don't get why he keeps talking about the duplicator. What could the duplicator possibly have to offer him at this point? He hasn't come across a single gemstone of any kind so far.

    EDIT: Hearing him explain its for money later in the video makes it even more obvious he hasn't really thought this through. Money is the least valuable resource available to him in the bounds of this challenge.

    I’m sorry but hearing Kevin say “I have made use of what I have.” After leaving a RIDICULOUS amount of fiber was hilarious. Then he says that you probably couldn’t have done much better than that. 22:07

    Watching you do this challenge is frustrating, you aren't good at it. there's So many ways in earning money without leaving the farm

    I have a save pretty similar to this actually, I call it my Krobus save. I have a very hard time not talking to the villagers everyday so for this save I literally never talk to any villagers. I only know three people. Right now my main goal is to unlock the sewers but I basically just mine all day, and clear off my farm and break open geodes on Sunday

    I uhm. Tried to do this. and in the first spring. deforested heavily. now there is nothing I can sell. and it isnt growing back. i think i messed up

    After this series I actually did my own version of the hermit life in stardew. Not as hardcore, I leave once a season so I can have various seeds and upgrades, but it's actually been really fun.

    i can only go in once a year so i cant upgrade my tool…. why not give it to clint on last day in winter, then pick it up first week of spring?? those are technically two different years.

    I love that some serious stardew channels have picked this up and done challenges based off of this video, except they actually assumed this was kevin properly attempting to do a stardew challenge/ what if properly and not just him fecking about in stardew but with some kind of theme so he doesn't get bored. One of them even called it 'The Hermit Challenge', pretending they thought of it but if you've seen this it's obviously taking heavy inspo
