This strength of this Terraria weapon may surprise you… The Magical Harp. In this video, I take a look at this mid mechanical boss magic weapons which is still surprisingly good in Terraria’s 1.4.4 update. This weapon is truly one of the absolute best for destroying long lines of enemies in event thanks to its unlimited ricochet and piecing. It can also completely cheese bosses like the Destroyer, thanks to having slow moving projectile that deal some serious damage! If you haven’t already, you should totally give this weapon a try!

Finally putting my music Alevel to good use lmao
Back in 1.2 this was the weapon id always use for plantera
You get Unholy Trident at the same time of progression (you can choose a weaker Mech Boss, but need to farm quite a bit) which is way better in almost everything
It's also good for Plantera if you use the box arena, because of the richochet.
Read the title as "the surprise of this weapon will strength you"

In my personal opinion the difficulty of the mechs from easiest to hardest is
Destroyer
Twins
Skeletron Prime

Back in 1.2 This one was one of the best mage weapons on the entire game. I was glad that is still powerfull on the moment you get this weapon when 1.3 arrived.
how does he shoot so fast in the end?
The magic harp is the ORIGINAL destroyer cheese weapon. you'd get it with the star cloak and you could put yourself in a box and kill the destroyer back when the mech bosses were balanced around a team of 4 players killing them.
interestingly, for me the easiest mecho boss are the twins, and the hardest is the destroyer

if I had a nickel for every game that has music notes as projectiles which can pierce infinite enemies but last limited amount of time, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

I know I'm late to the party, but if you think the damage on skeleton is only okay when he's spinning, you should try firing the harp IN THE DIRECTION YOU'RE BOTH MOVING, so it lingers longer.
I cant kill destroyer but i think the twins is easy asf, did i get a alternative universe version of terraria?

Decend on wings does all attacks if in diagonal line.
Then drilling with meteor staff
It is my personal favorite for plantera.
Close space + infinite piercing + ricochet = hight dps.

Just one thing twins are easy if younot cheesing destroyer. There all easy thoto be fair.
Compared to the rainbow rod, unholy trident, and venom staff, the magical harp is pretty bad against planterra, which at it's stage, is its only real use. The main reason you craft this one is either for more options when dealing with enemies, or to use its peirceing to nueter planterra"s tentacles. (oh and about planterra's first phase: just about any decent weapon can nuke that, from spirit flame to hex doll to venom staff to rainbow rod, and those are just mage weapons.) That said, I do think it is severely underrated as a method of dealing with the post planterra dungeon.

The harp is still useable against prime as u deal decent damage while it’s spinning, but the harp is a monster against destroyer and plantera
