5 weapons that need some love in Terraria 1.4.5. The Keybrand, Flower Pow, Bubble Gun, Venus Magnum and Eye of Cthulhu. With Terraria 1.4.5 just around the corner (hopefully) I figured now would be a great time to take a look at 5 weapons that deserve some love in terms of a rework or overhaul. Included in this list aren’t necessarily bad weapons, but simply ones that I can think could be enhanced with some further functionality. Lemme know your thoughts! Enjoy!

Bubblegun is actually extremely good. It has insane dps compared to the razorblade even though it is much riskier to use. Try it with damage setups and you will love it! I think it shouldn't have homing, since its supposed to be a higher risk higher reward weapon compared to the razorblade typhoon.
What is your opinion on the laser machine gun?
That bee-firing mod you put on the bubble gun at the end is absolutely terrifying…

i hope the new magic string/magic yoyo bag means that yoyos get some love in 1.4.5

to make the weapon unique it should fire homing projectiles that are skinned slightly differently
Honestly the Eye of Cthulhu with the yo-yo bag goes hard. If I'm right it's one of the only yo-yos that can stay out permanently and it deals a ton of damage. It could use a buff for how late it is in the game, but just its raw damage is worth it for me.

I think that the bubble gun is perfect in terms of damage, only lacking in ease of use. just some homing would probably turn it into a top-tier weapon, but risks being too similar to the flairon and razorblade typhoon..
I'd like to see the Eye of Cthulhu yoyo dash fast like the 2nd phase of expert mode Eye of Cthulhu
bubblegun carried my first time player friend through master mode hardmode , and he forced me to try it out, and when i did i quickly fell in love with it… that weapon is very underrated imo!
a weapon i would like a rework of would be the razorpine, i really havent went out of my way to get that weapon since 1.2.4 ^^;

I think the flower pow should dump the petals and replace it with those grabby claws plantera has giving it a large increase to its hit box maybe inflicting poison or doing extra dmg if the flower itself hits the target
i think all hardmode true melee weapons not including the excalibur need a damage and size buff
I completely agree with the Eye-of-Cthulhu needing something else since it literally is just a regular yoyo with just high damage. It should have a chance to summon eye of cthulhu servants and hone into any nearby enemies or have some ability that relates to the Eye of Cthulhu
Not just the EoC, yoyos as a whole need love :p
i think the og celebration needs some love… 25 base damage on a post golem weapon? it neeeeeds the buff

Ngl the braker blade needs a rework
Bubble gun is good as it is imo. Its like a shotgun. It rewards you for dangerous close combat with a lot more damage than most of the magic weapons you get at that time
Just make the Eye of Cthulhu yoyo dash extremely fast (with piercing ofc)

I'd really go as far as to just slap the slash "projectile" of excalibur on to the keybrand just to make it useful; or a rolling slash to go alongside this to give a gap closer for the weapon
I think the early game weapons need an upgrade
Blowgun, Spear, etc
A Lachry Bubble Gun? Would need to nerf fire rate for that, maybe
