I’ve gotten many requests to show mods that relate to a certain skill, so why not show a few for all of them! I did some sleuthing to find a bunch of mods that all work together, and have still been recently supported!

  1. Ye-yeah… I’m definitely using the giant crop mods for getting more of each fruit/vegetable… not aesthetic purposes 😅

  2. The Water Bomb is actually based on a prank/meme from a couple years ago where a bunch of streamers were tricked into doing that and losing a bunch of their crops

  3. Along the lines of the cat cave, there's a mod, Cat Gifts, where the cat brings you a gift to your doorstep depending on the friendship level. It's not perfectly optimised, but I think with some tweaking it could actually be really nice

  4. This has nothing to do with this video but I thought was weird. I was playing multiple player i was the guest and had never gone fishing before on that farm. It was the event festival of ice when I was fishing i only cought fish and could not lose them. Is that a glitch or supposed to happen.

  5. "More Giant Crops" is awesome when paired with the "Tap Giant Crops" mod. I like to set up a little area to collect all of them, and with tree tappers it can be a display that's also functional.

  6. I actually got my first prismatic shard form a metal head, you know those walking balls of metal that clink when you hit them. Read as intended… And it was below level 40!

  7. i always feel super lost when looking for mods relating to the farmer's kids. do you think that'd be a good vid idea?

  8. One farm I had I got super lucky and the quarry started with two mystic nodes both of which dropped prismatic shards and I don't think I've gotten a mystic node in the quarry on any farm since then

  9. The “Crop Transplant Mod” lets you move all crops around, not just trees, including those in your greenhouse.

  10. Ooo, the fishing net one is rather delightful, especially if it contribuites to fishing skill. I've yet to find a game with interesting fishing, but it's always a pity to either ignore fishing quests or cheat through them. Would be nice to have a mechanic for them instead – at least this is just 'go on the rounds'

  11. I woke up on this video and had no idea what mod was onnat 6:58 and thought something was wrong with myscdeen before i realized it was that cat awww

  12. Dynamic Crops is an interesting idea, but I think it would better is the crops price would have small fluxuations at random, but what crops you sell and how many would cause big changes to the crop's sell price. For instance, if you sold 50 strawberries their sell price would decrease. However if you hadn't sold parsnips in a good while their price would climb. This would encourage growing several kinds of crops. This effect would probably need to persist across a year or more to be really noticable. There would also need to be some indication of the sell price of a crop before you actually sell it.

The only game I've played with this type of system is Slime Rancher, but I think it adds a lot to the gameplay loop as you can't just farm for the meta material(s).

  13. Still hoping for a big combat expansion someday. Current Stardew Combat is a chore and I imagine even in the limited engine it could be far better.

  14. Heres a better set of foraging mods: Wildflours. They espand foraging and let you gain machines through friendship to make deserts and baking goods plus tea and coffee depending on the mod pack. It also provides milk alternatives and ways to get milk and eggs that arent through farming. Its my favorite mod set to download the megapack

  15. The mod that makes it so farm slime kills give XP and contribute to quests is the only mod in this whole set that straight up feels antithetical to the core gameplay and immersion of stardew. Why would you encourage killing the things you're growing? Why would captive-born young slimes give combat XP even if you did? Why would slimes YOU are GROWING contribute to quests about culling overpopulation. It shouldnt have been on this list, its an outlier, and a negative one.
