This Terraria weapon absolutely melts enemies… The Razorpine. In this video, we take a look at an anbsoulte beast of a weapon that deals some of the highest single target dps of any mage weapon in the whole game. And the best part, is, its not even that difficult to obtain, been an early wave Frost Drop. The question is though, due to its post Post Plantera, Pre Pillar placement, is it worth the grind for such a small segment of the game? Enjoy!

worth noting is that the Razorpine has unique interraction when facing 1-3 blocks wide walls in which it can shoot right through them

Paired with the phantasm armor only boosts this weapon even more. One helm to basically become unkillable with rapid healing, only dying to very high damage attacks consecutively. And the other Helm for dealing even more damage. I usually pick healing because I don’t mind boss fights taking longer as long as I can make sure I don’t die in the process.
What do you think about the Cursed Flames book? I never see anyone talking about how OP it is. It makes the start of hardmode an absolute breeze and can carry you to golem. I wouldn't use it against Cultist or Skeletron Prime but it destroys enemies with its low cost, high damage and DOT effect.

I do miss the razorpine, was my main weapon with the razorblade typhoon before moonlord existed. A solid upgrade to the Leaf Blower.

I never played as mage. But I was a multiclass for my first playthrough. And I used razorpine. For only 1 set. The spectral armor with the hood. This is just a vampire knives but on steroids and on mage.
Back when I played terraria on the 3ds, you were able to completely remain untouchable with the razor pine and spectre armor. Specifically with the one that heals you.
Same with the bubble gun

Theres a better mage weapon with razor in the name called the Razorblade Typhoon

There’s only one thing bat scepter is superior for me in being a coop world making my friend solo duke while i have broom stick and hold left click coming in a wave of bats and doing 5k dps
