What started out as me writing down a minor frustration in one little thing, unlocked and popped the little bubble of rage I kept locked deep down inside and hidden away. I had no idea there were so many things in Stardew Valley that bothered me, or that made it this hard for me to sleep at night.

There is one thing on this list that sparked my need to make this video. Can you guess the right one?
I never understood why Shanes room is such a mess. His entire heart event story is you helping him with his alcohol issue, turning his life around and helping him get better, and then his room is an absolute shit tip with beer all over the floor. It makes no sense and is the reason why I usually opt to remove the room completely or use a mod to make it look better.
my biggest pet peeve is that the spouses have nothing to say to you after you pass out! at least show some concern for my safety! also that shane nearly seems to revert after you marry him. Talking about beer all the time!

I would love to have bigger chests without any mods. I noticed that it was mentioned years ago to add this element to new update, but so far nothing.

Ha agreed about like all of these. Though the Marnie thing is always kind of annoying because it's a small town they don't need to be and shouldn't be open 24/7 or even nonstop 9-5. So I'm glad you acknowledged while it can be annoying it makes sense. Like in many European countries they get time off to go home and eat lunch and I like that the villagers don't just sit behind a counter all day everyday waiting for me. Only thing I'd change is what some of the villagers do on their day off, I'd rather see more out in town than just staring at something for hours. I'd also like the option to update the map with days they work after you find it out.

I rearrange my farm layout alot. Whether its my pet or the stubborn horse refusing to move to the new stable location. Which stops me from placing a object there. So gotta sleep then once again wait for robin to open. Or farm pets in the way from rearranging. Wish they would just MOVE so i can build

why don't WE have a birthday, like COME ON! I get it, we befriend people and they can send us gifts, but like, it would be nice, to have a day that's just ours to celebrate, even if not everyone sends us gifts… although getting one from the whole town, or a single gift they all pitch in on ( cluster or bombs for mining, discount at the store for the day, a selection of seeds for free, or even a stack of crab cakes? ) thoughts? Edit we should be able to choose where to have our birthday celebration, Farm, Beach, Mountains, or IN the Community Center once we fix it up, maybe choose more than one person who can go to the movies on that day?
3:54 this is one of the things that has always bugged me about Stardew Valley. How is Joja supposed to seem like any kind of option if it's so expensive?
oh I HATE when I'm trying to get somewhere (like into a barn, to a mayonnaise machine, etc) and the animals decide to go ANYWHERE but out of the way and stand right where I need to be
When you’ve arranged a room perfectly only pick up the rug on the way out and have to do it all again and just putting things on rugs in general drives me insane at times!!!
I have a few annoyances with the game
1 Why in the world does Robin NOT SELL CLAY AND HARDWOOD? It would be nice for her to start selling it at least after you complete her community board event where she makes that giant bed. Same with Pierre with selling sprinklers. It just makes sense to me
2 is why can't you move your house? You can move every other building including the greenhouse so why not that too?
3 is I really wish that the other marriage candidates could marry each other and have kids. There are obvious pairings in the game like Abigail and Sebastian so I wish once you become friends with both of them and let's say halfway into year 2 as a prerequisite that there would be a few events that you as the player could participate in where you could help them hook up. Like say if you're playing as a guy you get an event with Sebastian saying how he's had a crush on Abigail for a long time but doesn't know what to do about it. So you essentially play matchmaker for them. Same if you're playing as a girl but it's Abigail you talk to

The apples almost screwed me over in my community center year 1 playthrough, i had no idea they were so rare. Im now at year 3 on that farm and havent gotten a single new apple from the bats
The amount of times I've passed out in my doorway bc my cat fell asleep in a position that blocks me from entering my own house

Not sure what my biggest pet peeves is, but it's super irritating that doors, even to the saloon, are locked all day on festival days, EVEN THOUGH I SEE VILLAGERS ENTER THE SALOON. It's only me who is locked out, and having the key to the town doesn't help. Also:
Strawberry seeds only available at egg festival.
Being able to walk through farm animals and NPCs, but not your pet.
Perfection requires a spouse or roommate who effectively works like a spouse.
Not able to shoo animals out of a space to place a mayo maker or seeds.
Agreed that save and quit feature would be helpful, so I don't get sucked into just one (or five) more days.
The Museum Items, when you hover over the item, it will tell you if you have Donated it or not. It will say "Give this to Gunther" or something like that. But if it doesn't, you have already donated it. ^-^
I modded away the flowers issue (Quality Smasher mod). I was literally moaning about the lack of a warp totem in the forest when I was playing last night. The lack of use of the Community Center is also sad. And I too love Shane but his room when you get married is possibly dirtier than in Marnie's house…
The combat. I hate it when I go to swing my sword and my character is facing the wrong way. I hit nothing but air and the enemy gets a free hit in. It happens a few too many times when I get surprised attacked by those fast moving serpents in the Skull Cavern.
I HATE when I hear a train thinking I’m gonna get goodies, but it ends up being a Joja train and I waste 2 hours for nothing
The constant, bizarre "Mad Libs"-style dialogues you have with villagers about them buying/eating your produce. Abigail told me recently about "one of those Crocuss(sic) you sold at the shop for dinner last night." I'm sorry, so let me get this straight: You not only ate a flower for dinner, but you also don't know enough to put an "es" at the end of the word so it's spelled correctly? Or when Haley tells me that "Emily tried to serve me a Blueberry for dinner last night… I threw it out when she wasn't looking." I'm sorry, ONE blueberry? And besides, those are delicious!

This is not worse I enjoy that little details there. Paying Willy is fine esp it’s easy to make money in the game. I’ve come from playing animal crossing to this and dragon quest builders 1 and 2
The biggest thing that drives me nuts is the INABILITY TO KNOCK ON DOORS. Yeah, I get I can't just FBI bust into this person's room without their permission. But why does the game not offer an option where you can knock on someone's door and get a social option if they're in there?
Also, flower color should be based on quality. Easier stacking, and you can control what flower you get with fertilizer.
it makes me crazy that the Java ring is not a ring that permanently gives you the coffee speed boost.
For me it’s not being able to pick up and hold your children and them not being able to run around on your farm, not to mention the way they’re just standing in your living room when you return from a festival. Also, why isn’t your family able to visit and stay at your place on Ginger Island? As someone mentioned, the dialogue with your spouse becomes stale. Maybe different dialogue from spouse and NPCs after 3 or 5 years would keep it surprising. (Cause some are not speed running perfection or playing on PC).
