There are so many incredibelly usesful machines in stardew valley like crystalariums, kegs and casks and there are a bunch that I think are incredibelly underrated and some might even consider them useless compared to the top tier machines. In this video I highlight some of the processing machines that are actually really good if used correctly.

I use the crab pots in the early game to get easy "fish" to turn into quality fertiliser with sap. The junk is useful as well

Holy crap, 5-9 wood for a driftwood? Dear god, why even bother throwing hardwood in? Hardwood is more valuable and has more important uses! Can't believe I never thought to try putting driftwood in the chipper. Aslo, how in the HELL could the workbench be "underused?" How could ANYONE not instantly fall in love with the workbench? Two chests can hold basically everything you could ever need to craft with and the workbench can access them both at once. I can't fathom how this would be the slightest bit unpopular.
I assumed (wrongly) that the wood chipper would give you 1 wood for 1 hardwood, now that I know it produces 5 or more it is better than regular trees for producing wood so I'm going to chop down all my trees in the desert tonight and replant mahogany trees instead although I may need a few more seeds first
When you have loads of money do you really need to make coal and wood though? I mean these are great tips for early game for sure but late game you'll have enough money to buy several thousand coal and wood.
People who go to Marnie's or Robin's without checking the wiki first won't aren't going to be saved by a telephone unless it is on the way out of the farm.
The annoying thing about the geode crusher is that it won't process golden coconuts and i have no problem paying 25g for one to be cracked but it's remembering to go to clint's at the right time and then there are festivals and days when he's getting a check-up so it would be nice if that was changed imo
I like to place crab pots where they will get me trash on my farm so I can process it into wood, refined quartz, stone and coal. I'm not so worried about newspaper recycling.
Used to farm dust sprites for coal and had massive tree farms as always wood starved, the chipper let me have more wood and coal than i can use
I use the telephone when I need t9 go to robins shop so I do not forget materials

Geode Crushers are extremely OP. They will dupe whatever came out of the last geode that Clint cracked open for you if you use it right after. It's really helped me with getting enough iridium ore and prismatic shards since I can't seem to get deep enough into the skull cavern yet to get the ore in significant amounts. And prismatic shards have a ridiculously low drop rate. It wouldn't surprise me if this "feature" gets patched out at some point, like the insomnia glitch, so use it while you can!
unpopular opinion but the cola machine you get after completing the joja route is good. at 6:10 am it finishes brewing up one joja cola. if you want to romance sam this would be very useful as joja colas are something he likes. if you have too much, just sell them for 75 a pop (pun intended)
On my forest farm I collect hardwood from the stumps while I wait for the mahogany trees to grow and I turn a portion of the wood generated from the wood chipper into coal, I never have to farm dust sprites again!
I use the workbench ALL THE TIME!! Especially with how I store my items
The calendar is good for not forgetting birthdays!
Iโve called some of these things useless before but my first play through on the beach farm and itโs kicking my butt! Iโve had to utilize thinks Iโve never had to. Very fun. Nice video!!
A good use of a machine for free stones is the one that recovers building materials. You farm jade, use the jade to buy up stairs, put the stairs in that machine, and get 100 stones per stair
I notice things disappear on my farm when I get a morning message that weeds have damaged my farm. How can I prevent this from happening?

Something I'd actually want to be buffed is the Workbench (although this idea might make Junimo Chests feel a bit redundant so idk if it's good but it could be interesting):

For players who set up a ton of Crab Pots and don't choose Luremaster, Worm Bins are invaluable! No need to rush off to the mines or Willy's to get more Bait that way, nor any need to stockpile it.
turning wood to coal is not so efficient infact i would not recommend it at all
mid game you can just use monster musk with the " get double coal " skill and farm 300+ of coal in one day in mines on a lucky day
Great video! I'm going to go see if you ever made the crab pot video because they're one of my favourite items (no bait needed, recycling machines, great source of coal, cloth, refined quartz etc)
I always set up a work area with a work bench and 7 chests around it and each chest has a specific type of material in them
You can place chest all around the workbench (at least 7 chest) and it will work the same way. I'm able to fit every single crafting item in those 7 chest.
Iโm a mobile player. Should I just stick to mobile and keep my progress? Or should I swap to PC and start over but get 1.5 instantly and more. I AM WILLING TO USE SPAWN GLITCH TO SPEED UP PROCESS BECAUSE I DID IT ON MOBILE. Any suggestions on what to do?
The telephone does sound useful but there is also the wiki for such things and if I'm not going to remember to go to the wiki I'm not going to remember to phone.
FYI the workbench uses storage from all surrounding tiles so you can put 7 around it and still have an access point no need for multiple workbenches. If you can't get all your crafting stuff into 7 storages then you might need to craft in batches.
The farm computer is really useful for example I have a shed full of crystalariums producing diamond and another producing jade and another shed with kegs in so I know if it says 137 machines ready 1 shed requires attention, if it says 274 machines ready 2 sheds need attention if the number is something other than that then I've probably not checked my statues.
i use the workbench and its awesome. i put in between my wood and stone (and other raw stuff) chests.
The slime egg pressers make at the very least the lowest tier green slime egg, which sells for 1000g, while 100 slime (which you'd use to make the egg) sells for 500g. You literally have a 100% base chance of doubling your money, and then more, so that's why I find that machine VERY interesting to use.

Nice to get oak resin from the wood chipper? Let's be honest. There is no way that is useful when it's just so much easier to get it from tappers.

I like the worm bin. Though it is costly it makes it up by saving time not running to willy to buy bait and saves your bug meat for wild bait instead. I just run past my worm bins on my way to my crabpots and fill them up
