there are records of minecraft going out of their way to help people in special cases (getting a 2 letter name back, or one of the players who owned over 100 accounts being able to migrate them from legacy to mojang with special help), so maybe if mojang sees this they might make an exception, although i highly doubt it

I bought an account a while ago and forgot the email that goes with it. like i registered the email in a rush and actually forgot the email address lol. BUT, i had the transaction screenshot, had my game logs and everything. Reached out to microsoft first, support provided ZERO help. reached out to mojang next, only to get told to reach back to microsoft. Neither side wanted to help. HOW HARD can it be?! I work in a game company myself so I KNOW it's doable to recover it. its just that you have to get thru ALL their useless support and get them to be willing to get you someone who could actually help. No offense, yet another example of how useless customer supports are in US companies. I've had my fair share of frustration with them. Sad to see even a creator as big as you would still need to make such a scene to get some basic problems solved.
Microsoft has been nothing but trouble with me ever since I got my account hacked I have gone through about 8 different employees telling me there's a chance I could get my account back, and there's no chance I can get it back. I have verified with them that I am 100% the owner of the account, they asked me for a bunch of very personal information to verify I was the owner and they told me I was confirmed to be the owner. but clearly I don't have my account back if I'm commenting here. they told me the hacker used 2FA so there is literally 0 way they can get the account back I don't know how to put into words how infuriating that is to me after spending like every waking moment on this game, that account has so much history and to be told I can't ever get it back because of their own fault just makes me furious.
