  1. i've got 2 pet sea urchins who wear hats, one in my coral reef tank named Dave, who wears a fedora, and one alone in a modern tank wearing a sailor's cap, named skipper (who was a gift from krobus)

  2. The raccon/tanuki's umbrella is another Ghibli reference, I think. My Neighbor Totoro, the title character has a leaf umbrella.

  3. The Dolphin Poster in Abigails room could also be a reference to the Dolphin Emulator which can play Nintendo Gamecube and Wii games…

Edit: It can also be a Reference to the Gamecube's Codename which was "Dolphin"

  4. We missed the bus reference to earthbound… in fact I feel like there's many inspirations taken from that game found all over stardew valley

  5. Considering how Razmodius is totally not Abigail's biological father it makes sense that he makes a reference to the horniest woman in Star Trek

  6. The "Granny" character in Totoro also tells the main girls when they move in next-door to call her granny. Also, I always thought that Mr. Qi is a reference to Q from Star Trek.

  7. Iโ€™m, I believe that Yoshiโ€™s taxonomic classification is โ€œYoshisaurus Munchakoopasโ€ LOL, Iโ€™ve watched WAY too much Game Theory please disregard my ridiculous attempt to parody a โ€œwell actuallyโ€ type YouTube comment.

  8. speaking of Terraria, you can see a Soul Of Flight in two spots in Stardew Valley: in the credits after scrolling down for a bit and randomly on a good luck day from the fortune teller

  9. I'm late to this video lmao but I'm so glad you mentioned #20 being a Howl's Moving Castle reference, I love the books and the movie and in all my Stardew playthroughs, I'd always make sure to get that scarecrow at the fair. I knew its design wasn't just a coincidence!

  10. This might be far fetched but in the desert theres a long cactus that when interacted gives you the dialogue "This cactus is huge. knowing that the cactus will continue to grow fills you with assurance." which in my opinion at least seems like a pretty clear undertale reference.
