Got all the barns in Y3 now just trying to make money to buy a sheep and a pig
Who’s here in 2022
BROOO IM CRYING I DID NOT KNOW SCARECROWS COVERED THAT MUCH SPACE!! I LITERALLY PLACED ONE LIKE EVERY 4 TILES OMFGGG .. I GUESS I HAVE CROWPHOBIA!!!!!
BEFORE YOU READ THIS IT IS VERY LONG IF YOU WANT THE SUMMARY SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN.
I think you mean melons are the way to go in summer because one blue berry gives 50 and you get 3 or 4 harvests a season
On t other hand melons are the same amount of money but give 250 and you can get 2 harvests
I just made a new discovery so this is the edit
Hot peppers get 8 yealds and blue berrys get 4 and hot peppers make 40 and cost 50 so hot peppers make 320 per plant if they were all normal quality while blue very would only make 200 so melon is best for people with money peppers are better for people with no money and blue berry are expensive and bad so this is my counter argument
Sorry but I’m back with another argument this is that pumpkins are better than cranberry’s. Minus the cost of the seed a cranberry will give 135 profit (with all harvests) on the other hand a pumkin is cheaper and gives a profit of 440 (also including when you harvest then replace the pumpkins so both the pumpkins you can get before fall ends) so cranberry’s are also bad eggplants are very cheap and give a better profit than cranberry’s
IF YOU DID NOT READ THIS THEN READ JUST WHAT I TYPE BELOW THIS ⬇️
I did all the math and don’t do the Multiple harvest crops for fall just do pumpkins and if you want then eggs plants are also fine NO CRANBERRIES and for summer do melons, but if you are poor do hot peppers NO BLUE BERRYS
DF does not care about community, he cares only about divorces.
You stole my character
have to disagre on Summer, Hops are way better than blueberries once you turn them into ale (17 harvests worth 300 each vs 12 harvests worth 150 each, before AG, and they also process much faster so you need less kegs), and that's absolutely worth setting up. Also, they level you up insanely quickly (which means faster access to kegs, letting you turn them ale).
I use eggplants in fall
Hot peppers in the summer
Maple syrup in the winter
Strawberry in spring
Could be fixed with a market system where based on how much of something is in the market it changes the price, and low amounts of one item raises its price
It's hard to believe I first started watching DF for stardew valley tips
4 years later and I’m still watching these
You sound like a young homer simpson omg
I'm late coming to this party but kale actually sells for a 110 at base level and goes up from there grows in 6 days in Spring and you can use it in the potluck for a very good reaction.

Me looking at my farm with a scarecrow every 3 tiles: 👀
Wheat you can grind to flour and bake food
Wether you can sell the food you make for a profit idk yet, I think so I just got the game recently but if you can, baked and cooked foods I believe (correct me if wrong) can be worth more than basic wheat and basic food like a fish would be cheaper than cooked fish meal
I think….. Idk yet just got it like a week ago so that's still on the fence cx
Edit: 1 he already said it and I was impatient cx sorry
And 2 thank you I never figured out just how much space a scarecrow does and just seeing that massive spot is like omg I wasted resources on like 6 of them when I just needed one cx
The flowers are good when you make honey
Why do all the Stardew valley Youtubers have weird voices.
Also poppy is needed for bundle!
Yeah, you sound like a guy that definitely would hate his community in real life and only wants money, lmao 🤣
Another great tip is to spend the first couple of days scything all the grass on every part of the farm, forest, and a couple spots in town. Doing that gives you a chance of mixed seeds being dropped, and when you start the game you can usually get about 30+ and those crops are basically free money since you don't spend money or energy (using the scythe doesn't expend energy) getting them. Since mixed seeds are randomly picked from the crops available in whatever season you plant them in, (besides strawberries or anything that's a "starter" like grapes or hops) and sometimes you can get a bunch of free cauliflower or potatoes early on! It's also really good for summer since mixed seeds can grow into corn, which lasts multiple seasons and is constantly regrowing
The only reason I get flowers is for gifts. Almost everyone likes sunflowers minus I think Willy and George.
Only thing Jazz is good for is honey but that's not useful first year
Flowers have the benefit of increasing value of honey produced by bee houses.
Fairy flower honey sells for something like 760gold every fourth or fifth day.
It should not be underestimated.
"Who doesn't like Melons." 🌚
The point to the flowers is to make honey . You grow the flowers once grown you don't need to water them . Don't pick them build bee hives . Only pick them they day before the season ends . Fairy rose honey sells for the most .

My mind:💀
His voice is making me sleepy
my best tip for casual players looking for ways to maximize profits is to get sprinklers as early as possible. if you can have enough basic sprinklers to water all of your strawberries in spring, do it (remember, you have a few days before you actually have to plant the strawberries). then, spend the rest of spring getting quality sprinklers for summer. on my casual runs, i am for 100 quality sprinklers by the end of summer, so then i can plant 800 summer crops. chances are by summer you don’t have the materials for kegs or preserves jars, so just plant blueberries. by the end of summer with 800 blueberries you’ll have like 600,000 gold for fall. then you should plant pumpkins, which are just 100 gold, so 80,000 for 800 sprinklers. then you put the pumpkins into kegs to make pumpkin juice, and sell it with artisan. those two pumpkins harvests will be worth about 1.6 million gold, and if you use deluxe speed grow on them you can get 2.4 million gold. this is the best casual method i’ve found, but if you can find a better one let me know
Haha can you do update of the video
Ik this video is quite old, but one thing I think is important to mention is that flowers are actually valuable for one specific thing: Honey. Bee hives located near fully grown flowers will produce special honey which has increased value depending on the flower value. I wouldn't base my economy on selling honey but having some hives around gives you a pretty decent artisan good that sells for decent money.

Per investment pumpkins are better than cranberries. Only when spaces is considered are cranberries the better choice until you use deluxe speed grow then pumpkins are better for both space and total investment. This goes for keg vs. raw. Though keg is the way to go starting year 2.
Who imagined back then what will happen
Its either their voice sounds different, or its just the mic
Parsnip is THE best for gifting! It is cheap and almost every not available person loves it.
I had to rewind because I couldn't believe my ears. He said a hundred years in game. Why isn't he old? Did the old couple die? LOL I am kidding…mostly.
PS Nice cauliflower trick.
