This might be the best expert item in Terraria… The Spore Sac. In this video, I take a look at this rather underrated Terraria expert mode accessory that might be one of the best expert exclusives in the whole game. Giving the player the chance to become the ultimate afk farming machine, firing out poisonous, homing mines around the player automatically all the time. Combined with chlorophyte armour, this can serious create a nasty combo to take on most of post-plantera with! Enjoy!

I’ve always used this in my expert mode rubs it’s definitely great
You can also use the Queen Slime's Expert Drop on tandem with The Spore Sac ye
Don’t forget about the worm scarf, it’s actually so good.
Yeah, not even close.
The simple fact that the very first boss most people fight in the game gives you a dash immediately makes every other expert mode drop worse, at least if you want to play the game instead of AFK'ing.
Wow I’m surprised to hear that this accessory is generally frowned upon. I almost always use it when I’m playing. At the very least it stays in my vanity slot so I can bust it out when it’ll be useful.
i actually use this item on most of my vanilla playthroughs, modded not so much
I love the spore sac, but nothing will ever beat the shield in terms of expert accessories. The game feels almost unplayable before I get it, and I keep it equipped until the moment I get a tabi drop.

I think that unholy trident is better for plantera than frost and crystal ones(i don't remember names, of this weapons)
I always use the spore sack when I'm clearing space for an underground arena/farm, or when I'm just casually ore hunting

There's a Deerclops drop that does something similar but, does slightly less damage and no poison. You could also probably add this to an AFK setup pretty easily for some additional damage
I was planning to put this on for my Summon set. Such a busted item.

Ever since plantera was added i avoided this item like the plague because back then it wasnt so good

Ive used this every playthrough, thought everyone knew it was great
This does not help me as much as everything else dropped from other bosses as I only play master mode, the for the worthy seed, or the zenith seed because I need a challenge to keep terraria in my interests that’s why I completely simp for the shield because any movement accessory is A or S tier for me and shield is a S
I see the main issue is the fact you can move and mine faster than the spores move
It would make sense for it to be stronger with summoner damage

Already trashed them all haha. For me, the First few Expert exclusive are the best, as I tend to keep them all the way until moonlord. As for a acessory slot… I play mostly master mode so I can for another acessory. Each slot is a premium, so one slot is a huge compromise.
No, it's just worse than the demon heart and shield of cthulhu (which is an almost vital part of pre mech duke mind you)
I just use it when im farming makes it so much easier
I've always loved this item, I never thought about it as being so good, but rather a nice niche assistor
I love using sentries to kill enemies beyond walls I haven't gone through yet and the radiant damage from spores makes it that much more effective
i've never found any of the expert mode accessories to be worth the slot other than the Worm Scarf.
so many of them are just mid effects that don't do much and can't be combined while demanding an entire accessory slot. Better off using something with extra damage or defense.
