This Terraria weapon is insanely powerful now… The Electrosphere Launcher . In this video, I take a look at this post Golem ranged weapon which although was previously very powerful, actually received a huge accidental buff in Terraria’s 1.4.4 update. This weapon is truly one of the absolute best options for any ranger looking at making late pre pillar progression a breeze, and only requires farming the Martian Madness event. Using Mini Nukes, this weapon can destroy all kinds of enemies including large groups and single targets. Give it a go!

Autofire is so broken! I love it!
Seems good, thought the best ammo is a bit annoying to get cause shroomite

I beat moolord with electrosphere before in mobile (because all weapons there is autofire.) But seeing it finally getting love, it makes me wanna use it more often.
Only issue with this launcher that makes me pick Snowman Launcher over it. Its use is much worse on controller, as you have to aim it much slower or much accurately to use it properly, but with keyboard and mouse its quite good

I guess this is another one of those "Oh I got it, so might as well use it". Personally, I normally skip the martian event, but maybe I'll give it a go on my next playthrough.
The Wand of Sparking/Frosting on the dontdigup/getfixedboi is incredibly good
i used this when i was in mobile version (pre 1.4.1) and it was insanely op.
Please do a review on the golden shower/cursed flames/crystal storm! Golden shower is honestly my favorite weapon and I would love to see a review!
This weapon has a special place in my heart, as this was the weapon I used for when I beat the lunatic cultist for the first time. Love it.
Call me a nerd, but looking through the Wiki and finding all of these awesome weapons was totally worth it!

Have you ever used the frost staff? It's a bit hard to get but the performance is very good.

Bro i loved using this weapon against moonlord before 1.4 came out
I used this weapon to defeat Duke fishron on my Legendary mode play through. Its Extrememly effective on plantera/ Golem as well.
During the normal world playthrough with my friend, as always I was a max damage ranger and just to show him how easy normal was, I used this to shred the cultist in seconds
I tried this with the lunatic cultist and killed it in seconds
would be a great weapon if it could be obtained pre-plantera with some dps reduction. Post Golem none of these are really useful as there are FAR better weapons for each class at that point. It's good if you are bored and simply exploring lower tier gear. Just my 2 cents.
Call me wimpy but I played classic and the saucers didn't have the "deathray only" phase with just 1 healthbar. That an expert+ thing?

My guess was this was supposed to be a mage weapon but the devs were like “oh the saucer can’t drop 2 mage weapons”
This is absolute madness… Martian madness!
The only issue I find is that it's kinda hard to aim, and has poor range. If it locked on to nearby enemies it would be worth getting (imo)
This was an MVP weapon I used to kill the Moonlord on my first time. I already thought it was good, I just didnt know there are better rocket ammunitions.

I love this weapon. I used it a lot before 1.4
I used the elctrosphere for my first couple runs of the pillars and it served its purpose great!

What i like about the electrosphere launcher is that its probably the best weapon to use to summon daytime eol as you can spawn the lacewig inside the energy orb
