I think calamity will probably just make rod of harmony not usable in boss fights because chaos state there is actually balanced
They even added a new secret boss so they could just call it 1.5

I find melee to be super powerful now and there’s like 0 need to go farm for a lot of weapons.
Just played through on master mode, just have to beat moonlord, and I never used anything other than Excalibur and night edge once I got them.

my favorite change is that i can drop items in a pool of shimmer to uncraft them, and than recraft them for better reforges, got legendary reforge without spending a coin

umm the fact you can put the true nights edge un the aether pool and keep crafting it to get the best reforge?
Thanks to shimmer,the players no longer need to spend their lives in underground mob farms just to get a modifier.

The update buffed everything but mega nerfed the dps of terra blade. Sure it works better now as an upclose melee weapon but in hardmode u also want some range and the damage on it has been reduced plus the projectile is slower, not as easily spammable and lacks range. Terra blade was the ultimate blade until zenith but now it can barely get u through the mech bosses which I need to beat to get it

Pretty sure the rod of discord allowed you to teleport freely like the rod of harmony does now, before they made it kill the sh*t out of you for using it.
