  1. this was a lot more informational & a lot of secret tips most advance players do not use! most people say you need the correct soil to plant each seed.

  2. Planting herbs in either a planter box or clay pot will make them impossible to harvest with the Staff of Regrowth unless they are fully blooming, despite the fact that the material yield is identical even when the herb is out of bloom. Therefore, natural blocks are the only way to maximise the efficiency of an herb farm. Due to the addition of the Guide to Nature Preservation, now sold by the Dryad in the 1.4.4 update released after this video came out, this is equally as safe, as well. You could always make use of an area on the map that you would never normally be in otherwise, though, such as an area between the surface and space or in the sand of a desert or ocean with no caverns, if you are willing to dig down for it.

  3. Clay is really easy to locate. Dig a little and then you will find some red blocks.
Me, a colorblind: Oh. Oooooooooh. Right. Red blocks. U-huh. Riiiiiight.

It's the same color as the dirt. It's not the usual type of "hard to distinguish" colors. It is quite literally The Same Color. Even with the colorblind assist filter, they are insanely hard to tell apart.
Should probably look for a colorblind assist datapack.

  4. I was struggling to defeat a single mechanical boss with the equipment I had at the time. got fed up and chugged every combat potion, killed the twins and the destroyer and got skeleton prime to 60% HP all in a row. potions are easy mode.

  5. i'm already a master, before watching this i used a mana regen potion before skeletron while using meteorite armour and the space gun…

  6. In pre bosses i usually make a herb farm now im ready for prehardmode and the farm is very useful since it gave me every kind of herb and most of enemy drop can be used for potion ingredient such as lens bone rotten chunk and building a fishing pond in every biome help you a lot to get the fish for potions ingredients

  7. Great video, thank you! A quick question though- how do you avoid your seed/plant farm from being destroyed by enemy fire? Iโ€™ve tried crafting these farms before, but as soon as a blood moon or a goblin invasion comes, my farm gets destroyed. Any tips on how to โ€˜preserveโ€™ it?

  8. I'd much rather plant herbs on their blocks, mainly because of the staff of regrowths ability to give you more herbs per herb collected, and gives seeds when the plants aren't blooming. This doesn't work in planter boxes.

  9. As a new player i find most of the terraria guides difficult to follow or understand because the game is so big but this one was perfect. Great video
