To me it isnt that good. I tried it on destoyer, and i died super quick. I GRINDED FOR SO LONG FOR IT AND IT WASNT WORTH IT.

i never really used this weapon in my playthrough because i built my sky bridge with solid blocks so i could never use it that much as the arrows just got caught on the platform
I used this bow one time and hated.
Orange zap. Suprising nobody, it will kill the destroyer fairly quickly.

When I was New to this game I didn't know this Thing existed so I killed the destroyer with a yoyo instead, took a few tries though😅

the shotgun thing i fogot what its called but its a black shotgun that shoots a big progetile then bullets aroung it i think thats better
I personally agree with the holy arrow nerf. It wasn't just good on storm bow here, it was also good on literally any bow or crossbow that fired more then 1 arrow at once. The shotbow and tsunami are monsters with those arrows. Then again they are kind of monsters with other arrows too. Pro-tip if you are having a hard time with destroyer but are comfy taking on Duke fishron at this point and time, get the tsunami and a lot of unholy or jester arrows.
Just today I have killed over a hundred hallow mimics and about a dozen crimson mimics
I used my whole stockpile of souls on keys and fought 7-8 at a time with terra blade
ironically the destroyer is destroyed by almost everything early hardmode
I recently (through dummies) figured out that hellfire arrows are better than holy for multi target dps
The rng gods weren’t on my side it took me 11 mimics to get it 💀💀

I'll be honest, I never liked the Stormbow. It's so much harder to hit with it than with anything else that the damage doesn't seem worth it to me.
When playing ranger I actually prefer to use either the Star Canon (if I have enough ammo to be confortable with it), Uzi (If I'm willing to farm it) or Onyx Blaster if I don't want to bother with those.
Honestly I prefer the flamethrower for the destroyer as i can beat prime right after the twins

i like how these guides always say to set up a farm when i've never once done that and still end up with hundreds of souls to spare.
never used it since it's kinda shit outside of a single boss fight, and i don't get the point in grinding for who knows how long just to have a slight edge in a single fight.
plus, it's the destroyer. He doesn't exactly live up to his name lol.
