This Terraria mount is incredibly awesome… The Lava Shark. In this video, we take a look at the Superheated Blood mount summoning item that summons the one and only Lava Shark! Where do I even start with this thing! Apart from it been one of the coolest ways to travel in the game, the mount offers incredibly high speed for pre hardmode and competes against even the Cute Fishron when submerged in liquids.     I've always been baffled on why this thing makes you take only 1 fall damage regardless of the distance

    Not fall damage immunity, you still do take damage but it's fixed at 1, and IDK WHY?????

    I loved this mount the second I laid hands on it, it's an essential item in my terraria playthroughs. Its useful for traversing the underworld and lava fishing for some pre-hardmode terraspark boots. I'm also trying something out for my zenith seed playthrough, where I'll have a lava cave at the bottom of the world and I can use it as a way to get through the underworld quickly.

    when me and some friends started a new world to play on around when lava fishing was expanded on, we found this mount by complete mistake and the whole server became obsessed with it. we all got our own superheated blood and dyed our sharked different colors. this obsession lead to the removal of water in our right ocean, and the creation of a huge lava ocean with a charred degraded stone bridge remaining over the ocean. we even fought duke fishron on the shark mounts. probably made things harder but was awesome nonetheless. whole thing was completely pointless but we did learn that the duke can be summoned from lava fishing with truffle worm.

    I didn’t even know you can catch those critters until like 2 weeks ago. Can’t tell you how many truffle worms I slaughtered

    I dug half the hell map out and filled it with lava to use this mount optimally, beating wall of flesh was a breeze but ngl it was kind of a waste of time

    One of my favorite mounts. It is especially suited for the drunken world and upside-down seeds which have large lava lakes in the underworld

    Its extremely useful for that seed where you have an humongous lava pool in the underworld stretching for thousands of blocks

    U forgot the drunken world there is in the underworld a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGEEE pit of lava also with the zenith seed so that’s useful for that if your doin a drunk/zenith run

    the lava shark has been my mount forever. because its a running joke with me and my friends and i use a bottomless water bucket to just fly around, hes the best mount imo

    You can use endless lava bucket with the shark mount and fly, negating it's low jump but it floods the world with lava as a side effect

    I feel like this mount would be a lot nicer to have if you could equip multiple mounts and then choose which one you want to ride rather than having to carry and swap them out in your inventory.

    You can actually fly with this mount if you get an endless water bucket and place it above yourself. Ruins the terrain but still amazing.

    I used this on my mage play through during late pre hardmode. (I was doing angler quests for cell phone and got the hotline fish hook, so I fished in lava and got this out of a crate) The lava immunity acting as a free obsidian skin potion was so useful for traversing the area. Definitely a niche mount for a specific part of the game but very useful then nonetheless
