the fact that my cat has made my life on farm miserable to collect my daily statue of perfection is enough to never adopt any pet on my another farm ever. i hate my cat with a passion it serves no purposes and is there a waste of space and time

i say no to pets on stardew valley biggest downgrade from harvest moon cant walk around town with my best friend whats the point.
I think this is the first time anyone has ever selected no to adoptinf the pet, and i think it's best that way
the pet is also used for grandpas evaluation which gives you a better score if you have a better relation with your pet
Wait, you van get full friendship with your pet to get a point for the four candles thing. Can you just like, not get that point then? XD

I named my cat on SV after my real cat and when I got that Message, he was on my lap purring while I played and it was so perfect ๐

I got an orange cat juat kept the name miso cause i think at the time i was playing i also had miso soup ๐

I really like how in the next ep Sailom will be trying to prove that he is worthy of Nuea's love and trust. So that means, it looks like that they'll be making up next week and possibly wrapping up the whole wedding problem for the next two weeks? I wish happiness to all the couples ๐
I accidentally clicked the no option trying to skip through dialogue on my first playthrough. It is also my current play through. I guess I'll have a go at the pet mechanic at the same time as I try out a new farm.
I wish that there was a bunny pet because I have bunnies irl (I'm allergic to cats and dogs)

This happened on one of my mobile files a while back, tho it may have just been a glitch

When I first saw the โyour pet loves youโ message I almost cried. My first Stardew pet was an orange cat, named after my orange kitty, Phoebe, who died when I was 7. At that point, she was a month away from turning 21, and was an old crotchety girl. I never really knew if she understood how much I loved her, because I was so little and didnโt really know how to express that to her. So when I got that message, it felt like a punch in a gut, but in a good way.
I said no because my dog sleeps at my bed
I got the derpy looking dog and named it after my dog lol
also theres one less opportunity for a perfection candle- getting 1k friendship with ur pet gives you an extra thing for it
My brother named our orange cat pissmissle on our co op farm and I couldn't stop him

the reason i said no on my recent gameplay is because on my previous one coming home on last minute from mining dog blocked me several times till i passed out which was really annoying.
Why wouldn't they just let Robin sell them? or Marnie? Instead of making you live in regret lol

False what abt the amulet from the mysterious stranger… If you have a pet the amulet will not be given to you so what abt that huh???
