I Played 200 Anti-Capitalist Days In Stardew Valley



In this video, I played 100 days in Stardew Valley completing the community center, but with a twist: I wasn’t allowed to purchase ANYTHING from Joja OR Pierre. I also set some other goals for myself which include finding the living hat which is proving to be much harder than I anticipated. Here’s how my next 100 anti-capitalist days in Stardew Valley turned out! 🦖

    To be fair, capitalism doesn't equal market and not-capitalism does not equal you can't buy anything from anyone ever, it just means everyone has a fair, exploit free life, so with my very limited knowledge of socialism, you're doing great

    the thing is if you sell stuff back to pierre to make up for what you bought, he's gonna resell it for profit, BUT BlaDe has made a video about scamming pierre that works so maybe you can look into that👀

    if you don't want to deal with Pierre and Joja, you may want to befriend with Caroline very early cause growing tree saplings requires no commercial seeds.

    I think the reason you got a second prismatic jelly is because you (presumably) have the Burglar's Ring on. The ring makes enemies roll their drops twice, and prismatic slimes have a 100% chance of dropping the jelly, so if you have the ring on, it always gives you two jellies

    The commentor was wrong! Anti capitalists refuse to buy big store stuff and focus on local owned. Or those Etsy people! So the traveller, the desert trader, the dwarf and Crobus, Marnie, the Saloon, all fair game. The laborers also fair game. So all you have to do is awoyd Joja and Pierre! Which you are doing, so all good :3 And I wanna do that challange myself~

    I just started a BRAND NEW file of the game on my switch, and after collecting 113 pieces of fiber, I looked in my inventory and realized I had the living hat.

    I am so sorry Charlie😭
    This is the same switch where I got TWO trash hats within the first summer of a different save😂

    The mayor is your best friend because you can get his loved gift from mixed seeds, and he isn't locked in his room all the time.

    Kent and Jodi and a number of other people like blackberries and salmon berries, which you can get tons of at iridium quality. You can give 2 gifts a week to 10 people and still not run out if you spend berry season picking them. And I carry them anyway, for health and energy, so it doesn't take inventory space or get left at home.
