I just used the mini nuke in a new crimson world and destroyed 1/4 of the world (I'm trying to get every achievement in terraria I got to do 50 more quest for the anger for every achievement)
The biggest problem is that on hardmode another evil biome apears and then there's even more evil biomes in random places underground so separating the evil biome is pretty much impossible at least to me
This video is ass, doesn’t go over numbers about range or how often you should make the tunnels, also your 2 block wide hellivator wouldn’t stop it, it can spread across that gap.
Pro tips Throw it into shimmer and get a upgrade During pre hard mode make 4 block or more wide holes on your evil biome to make sure it can’t spread Do not remove it all just make isolated islands or whatever you choose to prevent spread as the drops are useful
Before defeating the wall, i made sure to dig around the biomes and box it off with 2 layers of ash blocks and 5 empty spaces. Took one hell of a long time but hey, its gonna be my main world

Why is hollow considered evil?
My solution is just go fast enough in the playthrough that the evil can’t spread much
Me and my friend used a rocket launcher
And defeat plantera to stop its expansion by 50%

I think there’s now a potion that allows you to see corrupted blocks unmodded
we used to just use the clentaminator on the whole world and spread the hollow everywhere
Or you can bomb the entire world.
So sunflowers don’t help stop the spread of corruption?

Another quick note. Once you activate hardmode the game places a big X mark of the evil biome underground so be sure to check that and clean it out

I just destroyed the entire corruption with the drill
That is way too much. I’ll just beat moon lord before the evil consumes the world and call it the day
