In this video I try to beat Terraria using whips only! The rules are that I can’t kill enemies unless I have a whip equipped and also accidental hits will not count which means that if I’m chopping down a tree and I hit a slime with my axe that would be considered as an accidental hit.
With the new and recent changes to whips in Terraria, I’ve decided to revisit a challenge I’ve done in the past. Can I beat Terraria using whips only? How will these changes affect the progression of the game and will I be able to defeat the final boss Moon Lord? Stay tuned to find out!

One thing I will never understand is there is no “right” way to play Terraria and people still tell you you did it wrong. There is so many ways to beat ML and EoL is not required to do so. Thank you for the amazing content, Necro

This challenge would be so good if my dad tried it.
Flaws in this playthrough in my opinion:
1. not using obsidian armor or tiki armor
2. using melee armor instead of summoner
3. not getting dark harvest whip as a upgrade to durandal and not getting kaleidoscope as a upgrade to morning star
Dark harvest being faster than durandal and kaleidoscope doing more damage than morning star and swings faster than it
edit: this is my opinion.
