Going back to so many good Stardew Valley memories and so glad you guys still enjoy these videos. I put my heart and soul into these while teaching 4th graders and I can't believe they are standing the test of time. Love and joy to all of you still stopping by!
The only times I rec to save food is 1) for the mines. Bc the food has higher energy and health, I only save food for the mines, especially the desert one 😭 and 2) as a gift. I only save food for the NPCs I need to get our friendship higher and if Ik they like that dish, I'll save a bunch in a chest at their house so it's easier to gift them twice a week
One of the biggest things I did, I highly rec it to new players, is not to completely clear out your farm. For the first few Stardew years, I only cleared a small part of my farm, just the part where I grow crops. After I got animals, I cleared a bit of the top. After that, it was winter, I cleared my farm of most of my trees, and got about 10 bundles of 999 wood
You can access the community center on day 5, you just have to walk into that zone from 8am to 1pm that day.
I got married on my second spring.. yeah. 😂
And this was my actual game because I had 3 saves that just didn’t work because I kept spending money on dating

Here is a tip for single monitor gang who play on steam pc
Press shift and tab to open the steam menu and click the compass looking thing and it opens a web browser. This works for all steam games and even keeps it between play sessions.
What bushes are able to be cut down..
I cant stop focusing on how zoomed out your game is, how do you do that
for the hoe upgrade, can you also do that on the mobile version of the game?
I don’t know if anyone mentioned this or even if it was relevant 5 years ago when this video was made, but I tend to not cut any trees down on my farm until I get a mushroom tree. There has to be a tree to be replaced.

For trellis crops, it's a good idea to upgrade your watering can and use the charge up
My biggest mistake: leaving bombs in the main tool bar so when I accidentally scroll on my mouse without realizing, I end up right clicking and placing a bomb. This was also before I realized you could just close the game and restart the day. Lost my community center trophy 🥲

The first time my character passed out was because my cat slept in the doorway to the other room and blocked the path
Well i'm overanalyzing and overorganize things way too much as soon as i saw that we could have a chest i build one for everything. I've got one for sees related things, i've got one for nature, one for trash, one for weapon one for food one for cooking ressources, one for vegetables, one for fruits, one for equipment with pre made ingot next to them to know what i should upgrade and one for minerals. Also i'm in autumne i've got a modest farm but i FINALLY had enough to buy a thing to put animals in it pigs, cows, sheep etc… But i realised the utility of the silo after i passed a few days with the cow being angry and starts to die slowly i thought planting grass would be good but apparently she wanted high quality so i sold her at least she bring me 427 gold. I'm also trying to harvest the sap of trees and by the way keep the trash you have in fishing especially glasses and broken cd's they turn into refined quartz with a machine i forget the name of
something I didnt know:
when you use the seed machine in the ancient seed segment of this video, sometimes you can get an ancient seed from other fruits. for example I used a cranberry as I wanted to plant some in my greenhouse out of season and I got an ancient seed from it instead, currently growing it along with my cranberries 🙂
The dog just sucks it keeps locking me out of the bedroom keeps standing between the bedroom door and one time a cow was in my way and i was in a one block path i was nearly in my house but the cow just slept outside…
i always plant the cheapest seed at the last day of the season because i dont wanna hoe them soil again but for some reason im not struggling with money and im pretty rich actually even im doing that of course i dont do that in my first spring and summer but i do that in fall and onwards

I've never passed out after 2 am by my own fault. I was going home and got stopped by a cutscene and I didn't know at the time that you could skip cutscenes, and since I was playing multiplayer, the time doesn't pause while stuck in cutscenes, so Linus made me pass out from keeping me for too long.
The fact is, I watched too many Stardew videos to the point when I start playing the game, I immediately started minmaxing. I am glad I didn't start clayfarming on the beach.
Why is there no in game tutorial? It really really needs one.
Since I know I won't grow every thing the first year cuase I'm bad I'm just collecting one of all seed sad I don't have strawberry ow well tho I'll just wait till year 2 spring
