this challenge seems so interesting because you literally only have to worry on 2 things, dodging and dps? like, with only 1 hp you will still die to slimes in full wooden or full solar it doesnt matter

I find corruption more navigatable. While the pits are dangerous, crimson is mostly flat and have knockback resistant, constantly spawning, tanky, jumping enemies that early game you just cannot overcome. With enough platforming and building you can solve the corruption issue but with crimson the only solution is to get better gear. And as someone who likes to rush the oceans for mapping and planning, crimson forces me to progress past eye of cthulhu in master mode just to pass by it.
