Here’s a step-by-step guide on what to do in early Hardmode so you can get good gear, prepare for bosses and events, and not turn your base into a graveyard when your first Pirate Invasion arrives!     Labor of Love Changes The 1.4.4 update changed when you can get the Leaf Wings, and they are now only sold after Plantera has been defeated. Best options now are to farm Souls of Light or Night, Feathers from Harpies, and Souls of Flight from high-altitude Wyverns, and craft the Angel Wings or Demon Wings. Another option is to farm Pixies in the surface Hallow and craft the Fairy Wings.

    Also, smashing altars no longer has a chance to cause a random block to convert to evil / hallow, so feel free to smash as many altars as you want. Ore yield from crates has also been decreased, but since you can freely smash altars, there's no reason to fish up crates to get ore. And there are now Crimson and Corruption versions of jungle grass, so the evil biomes will no longer destroy the jungle by converting the mud into dirt, making it MUCH less important to protect the jungle.

    Just entered Hardmode as a Summoner, also first time ever using this class. Got SCREWED with my biomes this go around. My hallow biome is TINY and mainly just a combo of Corruption/Hallow/Snow biome. There's only a tiny spot that is able to spawn surface Hallow enemies, sucks. No hallow trees at all. And, my desert was totally corrupted, so not sure how to get it to spawn the HM Desert enemy for the new summoner armor during sandstorms. Will it still spawn if it's a corrupt desert?

    just recently defeated the WoF and checking every night to see the witch the doctor sells the wings but he doesn't someone said i need to defeat plantera

    I am so confused i have really good gear and the night edge sword and still cant beat any harmode bosses. I feal like im missing something 😂

    pls help I JUST got into hard mode and crimson just randomly spawned inside my jungle and I already contained the crimson prehardmode and I check it all the time and it didn’t spread but crimson randomly spawned inside my jungle😢

    How exactly do I know where this V of crimson/hollow is? Im anxious about missing one block and have it spread 🥲

    My Hallow spawned in my Jungle biome. Which is good because Hallow can't take over the jungle, but on the other hand… my Hallow is in the hardmode Jungle.

    You can get the forbidden armour using forbidden fragments and Hardmode ore, so summoners don't have to wait for hallowed armour.

    For anyone not aware, the Witch Doctor no longer sells the Leaf Wings until AFTER defeating Plantera in the latest version

    Edit: Just saw that he commented about about it lol. My bad, I forget to read pinned comments sometimes

    Love how the surface Crimson side of the V hit only my jungle and leads right through my hellevator at the bottom reaching the other side of it but left my villages alone

    Terraria is like Skyrim for me.. in that I find I like the idea of finishing Terraria more than I like actually finishing Terraria. I always start a new game, all excited and ready to finish it.. build my starter house, kill the first four bosses, gear up and get ready for Wall or Flesh, get anxiety about hardmode, watch some YouTube videos about it, and then stop playing. I’ve done this cycle like 8 times and I’m doing it again right now.
