It is very heartwarming hearing this voice again while watching modded terraria. I remember class only challenges, yoyo only challenge (if I remember correctly) and Mrs. Santa playthrough, that was super awesome!. In case of mods I'd only suggest AlchemistNPC lite I think its that mode called, it is so much quality of life with potions and everything vendors offer! Very much looking forward for this series!
Two good mods are Fargo's mutant mod and magic storage
Fargo's mutant mod adds NPCs that sells summon items for events, rare enemies, and boss summons.
Magic storage is a mod that is just a way better version of chests
Another happy playthrough โค also are you using community builds for this playthrough?
As far as mod recommendations go: alchemistNPC Lite is one that i use on basically every playthrough at this point. However, loving the playthrough so far, welcome back!

A comment on calamity, after I found out how badly they nerfed some things like Terraprisma and made it drop even during the night on expert, I lost a lot of my interest in it. And…, you dont have vein miner.
its not as important for a playthrough with only one content mod but one i would recommend is the magic storage mod to help keep track of all of the new materials and recipes added without needing to trawl through chests to find it, especially if you're trying to learn and experiment with mods i find this helps loads!
other quality of life mods I recomend are extra wing slot, ore excavator, fargoโs mutant mod, and Alchemist npc. First two are self explanatory but fargos and alchemist add npcs that greatly help with the game and reduce more grind times

You should use a vein mining mod.
If you donโt think fargos mutant mod is too cheaty then you could use that
if you dont already, you should get magic storage, just plain useful

I believe i havent seen magic storage yet in the recommandations? I think you will need it. And boss check list can be very helpfull to kinda know what you should be doing
Also, i recommand the calamity music mod and calamity extra music mod. They are bangers!
I really like the body and leggings of the armour being shown, its really dynamic with the familiar Helmet with it.
Also theres a Shader mod for Terraria and it makes it look very beautiful, best part is. You can change the settings to make it more or less subtle
