  1. The other day I actually got 2 rods of discord in under one minute. Me and my friend were amazed that our ring was that good!

  2. I built a hallow farm that utilized many thing that helped with farming Chaos Elementals. It used conveyer belts to move the loot down to the player, one way platform hoiks to get the chaos elementals stuck in one place so they can’t run away from the farm, and dart traps to kill them while they’re stuck on the hoik. I got around three rods.

  3. My first playthrough I didn't even notice I picked the RoD up until I was sorting my items (and then every one after was in Calamity where you can just buy it)

  4. Funny story, i made the Rod of Discord farm, runned it for like 2 hours, then gave up. 2 months later or so, my friend (new into terraria) accidentaly got it. Not only that, but he got 4 OF THEM. Idk what's bro's chances.

  5. Obligatory post that the effects of luck are insubstantial at best, and you should not spend hours going for luck items. Get a gnome, maybe some torches, but little else is worthwhile.

Reading the wiki very carefully (or reading Terraria source in 'Terraria.Player.RollLuck() : int' if you know C#) yields that luck is an X% chance to make another random roll (*separately of your Luck*) to determine what the item drop chance should be for that drop attempt, which is then used on a third random roll to deternine if you even succeed in getting item.

To end with here, Rod of Discord at 100% luck has around an average 40% increase to drop rate (0.250%->0.345%).

  6. You don’t need this much effort go in hollow bring a water candle dig a good size space so more enemies can spawn( doesn't matter as long as the whole space doesn't fit in your screen) and just wait there for a little while killing these guys and you will find it
