Luckily, with the power of the Consolaria mod, we’re able to bring this set back to life in modern Terraria, complete with a full overhaul to integrate it better into todays progression. I'll never forget how I found a dragon helmet in a pre hardcore jungle chest…
That's not the original sprite, the ancient armor is the resprite from a little over a year after console terraria's initial release. True ancient dragon armor would be a bad resprite of jungle armor.
i arrived on the terraria scene a little late. lepus had just been added to the game and i hadn't a bloody clue what i was supposed to be doing so i just walked around and killed bunnies because i am awful. one of them dropped that suspicious looking egg, i used it aaaand died repeatedly.
i miss the dragon armor, i hope it comes back as a vanity set in a future update

I remember Ocram and Souls of Blight, but I also used the melee Cholorphyte set with the Scourge of the Corruptor so I don’t know if this Dragon Armor was on the version I played
Dang, I was on PS3, and never made it to end game. This set and mod sounds like blast.
I used to play 1.2 on my phone and I got this set and used the speed for a horseman’s blade event farm. Even worked on the mech bosses. I gotta find that world.

I HAVE THIS ARMOR, i first played the xbox 360 version of terraria and i was so happy to complete that set.

i own an xbox 360 with all the old gen endgame armor(titan armor, dragon armor, spectral armor) and all the oldgen weapons too, sadly the console being that old is stuck on the fishing update(no idea which update that one is)
i remember when beating ocram had a chance to drop the shiny blue titan armor that was just a gold armor reskin
I miss this armor
I'm so happy i have a 360 and can hopefully go back and relive those old terraria days with ocram and this goated armor
I had to kill ocram so many times for this stuff
I loved the Dragon Armor, on Console (Ps3) it was kindof like the endgame armor set and your movement speed was so nicely increased. Also the old weapons like the Tizona, all of that really felt out of place with ocram as the final boss but still it remembers me of the old times..

Right before I stopped playing 360 I got the dragon armor
dragon, titan and spectral the three childhood armors of every terraria veteran
the flame should have a 15 second cooldown
I remember there was a glitch in old console Terraria that let you equip 5 of the same accessory at once. Combining the Dragon armor with 5 feral claws led to a hilariously fast melee speed.
when I was doing my first playthrough of the game with my friend the traveling merchant was selling the armor and since we didn't know anything my friend spent the entire day gathering money to buy the armor just to realize it's vanity
