I’m coming at you this time with tips that I think should be told to you in the game! While most mechanics have a hint somewhere, like through ‘Living on the Land’ or secret notes, these are just in the game with no hints!

  1. I play stardew on switch, and realized you could switch your inventory basically the day I got the backpack upgrade. I didn't realize so many people didn't knowbthat!

  2. I've been playing for like, 5 months and knew most of these. I thought this dtuff was common knowledge? But I play on switch so maybe that's different

  3. If your doing the community cleanup job from the job broad in front of Lewisโ€™ house you can go to the spa and fish all the trash you need to complete the job. Youโ€™ll also get some decor and soda from time to time. Btw idk if this works across all platforms because Iโ€™m playing this game on the Nintendo switch.

  4. I expected to know pretty much all of these, and I did, but sign on the fish pond absolutely blew my mind
I don't think I'll ever be done learning about this game

  5. There are several valid silver quality items that give the best result at the Luau, it isn't a minimum of gold. But the easiest thing to get is probably the gold quality cauliflower or gold quality cheese

  6. the luau best outcome isn't locked by gold quality! certain items can get you the best result with only silver (i.e. Starfruits)

  7. 31. Lightning rods make the best fences in the game. They are immune to decay, and indestructible. All you need are the two fence/wall posts to attach a gate, the rest can be lightning rods (or machines/chests/decoration) ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Finding out that you could shake the bushes and berries fall off, different ones every season, or shake the trees to have pinecones, and what not fall off, has been a game changer lolโ€ฆIโ€™m pretty sure that I actually found out from one of your other videos, but it could be from somebody else, tooโ€ฆ First of all, during some seasons, like autumn, especially, thereโ€™s an insane amount of themโ€ฆ Just look for any bush that has a little colored top of itโ€ฆ Usually purple or red. And you can get blackberries and I forget what the other kind are. Second of all, you can also shake the trees, as I said, which is nice if you need a pinecone or acorn, but donโ€™t feel like cutting down the whole truthโ€ฆ next, during certain seasons, there in insane amount of berries, and a fair number of towns people actually like them as a giftโ€ฆ plus, even though they arenโ€™t worth much, itโ€™s still a nice way to get a little extra money by just walking aroundโ€ฆ Lastly, itโ€™s just really gratifying to collect them lol itโ€™s honestly one of the more gratifying things to do in the game in my opinion lol
So, assuming it was youโ€ฆ Thanks for that one and hopefully somebody else didnโ€™t know and will see this

  9. I figured out 2 different tricks by accident. First one, When you are about to pass out and you lost track of time in the mines and you know you won't make it home in time but you don't want to lose $5,000 and half of your items, Just eat something poisonous to drain the rest of your health and energy. You'll pass out but when you wake up the next day in your bed, you will still have all of your items, you will get a letter saying you passed out and that you were billed $1,000 from the hospital but that is way better then losing 5,000 and half your items. Another trick, if you are about to pass out and you know you can't make it home from the mines, (assuming you haven't unlocked the carts yet), If you can atleast make it to Linus's tent, you can go in there and pass out in his tent. You'll wake up the next day in your bed with only half energy for the day, but you won't lose any money or any of your items because Linus will have your back all night.

  10. I have 1500 hours in this game, and I had to "fact check" you on one point, I didnt believe talking to people during festivals increased friendship, so, after seeing all of them so many times, I never do, turns out you are right, Also, I have often wondered about getting a perfect cast on fishing, so thank you for that as well. The rest I knew, but honestly, with my playtime I wasnt expecting to hear anything I didnt already know, just goes to show …. no matter how long youve played, theres always some little things you dont know

  11. Oh my God thank you for telling me the watering thing. I was waiting to upgrade my watering can until I finish harvesting

  12. Forageables and artifact spots respawn on Saturday, you can leave them until then and then just runa around and collect them all

  13. The buying 5 at a time was new for me ๐Ÿ˜ช spent so much time pressing and holding for 1 hay or seed at a time at like 300 hours in the game lol

  14. robin's wood and stone costs double twice and a bit in year two for a whopping 5 times the cost!
Save yourself the headache… buy 5 stacks of stone and wood in year one for the same cost as a single stack costs later!

  15. Queen of Sauce reruns on wednesdays will always show recipes you have missed. You will only see recipes you already know if you haven't missed any! From year 3 onwards, the reruns on Sundays will appear in the same order as they originally aired but wednesday reruns will still prioritise missed recipes.

  16. Speaking of the price of Joja-Mart seedsโ€ฆ Sunflower seeds cost 125g as opposed to Pierreโ€™s 200g, even without the membership!

  17. Another fishing tip: never fish looking left/right. Once you catch a fish, it will take longer to get to your hands than fishing while looking up/down. Test it.

  18. You can also customize which buttons do what too. I got the B button for the journal, the W,A,S,D buttons switched to I,J,K,L cos I'm right handed.

  19. When harvesting, if you hold down the button and move the cursor over plants within range, you can harvest multiple crops without having to wait for the animation.

  20. Another tip… It works on mobile idk for windows and other stuff but mostly on yt I see people purchasing stuff from krobus or the trader and stop after the stock is empty generally thats only one purchase…. But if you exit the shop window and enter again you will see that the stock is refilled… Its helpful when u need stuff in stacks and are only limited by stock.. i once baught 43 ancient seeds from trader using this๐Ÿ˜Š

  21. Another useful tip I learned especially for the early stages, if you click and hold while watering plants instead of just clicking it will water the 3 plants in the direction you are facing.

  22. Not sure if it was said or its just something everyone already knows lol but the saloon sells birthday gifts…let me explain. Pretend its Jodi's bday, if you go to the saloon and scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu there will be an option to buy Jodi's favourite dish/meal that you can gift her. It happens on everyones bday ๐Ÿ™‚
