In Minecraft bedrock the villager with the stonecutter can sell you dristone I don't know if the same apply for java but that could be a way to get a lava farm instead of waiting for the wondering trader

Hey Impulse, I don’t know if you’ll see this, but whenever I make a villager trading center, I always make the floor bottom slabs instead of full blocks, especially if it is under/near my iron farm. When it has full blocks iron golems can spawn there and affect the rates of your farm and are super dangerous to get rid of in hardcore. I actually lost one of my hardcore worlds to a golem in my villager breeder because I didn’t spawn proof.

Also, I never use fetchers for the emerald trade, I always use armorers, toolsmiths and weaponsmiths. Their second trade is four iron for one emerald (one for one if you cure them first). If you have a good iron farm you can trade with them a bunch, especially if you have multiple of them. They can also give you enchanted diamond gear once fully leveled up.

64 buttons no prob you love making red stone things. Make a pointless plant farm using all 64 buttons and red stone.

i was surprised you went for the paper trade instead of the the two iorn and 4 planks villager (i forget it's name) that trades iorn since you already have the farm going

Impulse! There is a better way to separate iron golems and villagers!
Since iron golems sink in water, just make the water stream two blocks deep with campfires at the bottom. Should fix any issues of villagers dying in your breeder/farm.
Also, I think in 1.20 buttons can be used to spawnproof things… but it doesn't always look great. Good luck!

I'm not sure, but I think the entity cramming in the mob farm is from the mobs on TOP of the trap door, not the ones that have come through it.

Love this Impulse! Coincidentally I started a Skyblock world a few weeks ago to looking forward to some tips and tricks. I sort of set up my iron farm similar to yours but I went for villager gossip mechanics (no zombie needed). 3 pods of 5 villagers each with one of the pods as my breeder. Yeah it only produces iron during the day but with the 3 pods it's more than I need. I also put a zombie in a boat close to the breeder output and kept my first witch alive with many buckets of milk on hand for future curing. Next step magma farm, then gold farm. Just as an aside, with 1.20 scaffolding is counted as a full block and block access to the open sky, so husk farms for sand are single layer only.
