A few things to write. This seems to be a novel idea so it's a bit more unpolished than I'd like.
First, the footage. This is demonstration footage so it's not life-or-death, but a few things slipped through. You can see me use hotbar keys to hotkey a few times, which is my fault that it slipped through. My bad, though in a real run this could just be done with clicking on the hotbar, so it's no big issue.
If the video seems a bit disjointed, it's because as this was made a ton of new route-changing techs were discovered, changing the process significantly. I tried my best to put them in seamlessly, though you may notice something.
Yes, this is tested on Classic mode as a proof of concept, though I see no reason why someone with more time, skill, and most importantly, experience and practice could not do this on higher difficulties. I myself am planning to do so.
Also, as for new techniques in this run, we tried our best to think of them all. I'm sure some people will come up with new skips that will make the run faster than ever now.
The amount of patience you'd need for this challenge is absolutely insane

I actualy tried to beat Terraria without a mouse but after some testing and thinking i quickly came to the conclusion that its nearly impossible to beat due to how many uses the mouse has . Its used for crafting , aiming , using weapons , opening chests and talking to npc's and many more stuff .
My man turned Terraria into a rail shooter.
Im pretty sure another way to access your inventory is through interacting with the guide npc

You forgot about PvP knockback as a movement technique. There is also explosive ammo + a fast firing gun makes you go extremely fast. Dropping onto a sloped rail converts your downwards falling speed into vertical minecart speed, so you can go much faster than with booster rails. You mentioned hoiking, but didn't actually utilize it: it allows you to travel a lot faster than with minecarts, and to create one-way projectile walls. I did a chariot playthrough (basically this challenge + A/D/Space is allowed on rails) a while back if you want to check out the techs we used.
