As a mobile terraria player, i can confirm that the multiplayer server is true
the Multicolor wrench bit here was an effect from a mod that I wasn't aware was a thing. I've got over 2k hours playing Terraria and haven't played unmodded since Master Mode dropped and I finished 4 different full playthroughs of that.
Also Warmth potion is far from useless as it massively reduces the damage from Ice Queens during the frost moon event.

Fact #1 affects the majority of projectile melee in the game. From the enchanted sword to the meowmere, to yoyos. Only the swing rate is affected by attack speed whereas the attack speed of the projectile is fixed. This means that a higher attack speed oftentimes makes you shoot SLOWER because the projectile and swing become desync. Weapons like the terrablade or most calamity non-true melees are the exception
