The MAJOR PROBLEMS With The New Minecraft 1.22 Update…

The Minecraft Creaking Update is here and has about a month and a half until it’s expected release date. If the update dropped tomorrow it might have some problems though. Here are some of my thoughts on the New Minecraft Update.

  1. I would like to have the creeking and the hostile mobs attack each other, like he wants to protect his garden, and maybe we need a more friendly Version of this biom where a creeking type entity protects the biom

  2. The biome lacks a purpose to go and explore it. New wood set and resin is a reason to go but it's just decoration and you can completely replace these additions because it's decoration. I would love to see a drop for the Creaking / a different drop if you chop the Creaking Heart instead of resin / an exclusive structure of any kind with exclusive loot

  3. Honestly if they dont want to change the tree shape generation they could at least get rid of canopy shyness for this biome.

    preferably id want 2 tree types with tall thin versions being sparsely placed throughout the biome. this way we could at least have 2 different leaf textures, and it supports realism a bit by not having monoculture trees. i think a spruce variant would be best for this. It would provide a thinned leaf texture and the towering trees in the gaps of the dark forest would lend itself to some megalaphobia vibes, adding to the creepiness without the average player knowing why it feels unsettling.

    Topping this off The spruce variant pale tree could easily be placed where the giant mushrooms are in the dark oak forest. but im assuming they have something planned for that, they havent mentioned.

  4. I think the reason why it only works in nighttime is for player choice. If you want to play with the creaking, then go at night. If you just want the tree blocks and don't want to deal with it, then go at daytime.

  5. It's just so gray and ugly ;w;

    I love the idea of it, and the creaking is SO COOL, but I wish it was in another dimension or something. Or I wish it would just change altogether and be a colorful biome with creakings in it. Or a mix of both! A colorful garden biome with a portal structure inside (or materials to build a new portal) that would take you to the pale dimension or something.

    I don't know, or stick it in the End, just anything but having these huge swathes of gray ugliness ruin the look of my world 🙁

  6. Firefly addition to fake out creaking and blindness traps are good/nice/great ideas. This got me thinking, do mobs also suffer from blind debuff? Maybe you could throw blindness potion onto illagers at evokers so you could sneak behind them or escape them.

  7. With all the new plant-related content that came to the game since 1.14. We need a new florist villager. One that we could get saplings from, sell logs or leaf blocks to, sell sap, buy sap bricks, moss and lush cave blocks, etc, etc, with it's max tier being a buyable wither rose and creaking heart. I feel like we gained enough content to warrant a new job site.

  8. Youre right, i mean, it definetly looks like a retextured dark oak forest. Yet the Mangrove swamp which is a biome variant of the swamp did have its own tree and generation. So that means its not impossible, and kinda too big to be an oversight.

    Really really hope they will be more like Willows, or at least an unique tree.

  9. The soul torch or soul lantern to get rid of the fog for sure. And even possibly keep the creaking at bay? Like the regular torches keep zombies, and skeletons out. And cats keep out creepers.

  10. If they aren't going to change the tree for the pale garden, then I would make it so that it is something that happens to the Dark Oak forest and slowly takes it over. Not all of them, but under certain conditions.

  11. in having more mobs i feel like endermen fit the theme of the biome, considering you have to look at the creeking and you cant look at endermen. that with fireflies could really up the intensity of the FOV based gameplay within the biome
