Easter Eggs Behind The…Sick Villagers? | The Story of the Illagers

Is it the lack of sun that makes them gray or are they just sick? Are they worshiping a giant chicken? Why did they get (allegedly) evicted from their mansion? And why does the name “Johnny” cause vindicators to go bananas? We sat down with Laura de Llorens, Jens “Jeb” Bergensten, Samuel Åberg, and Kevin Grace, hoping they’d have some answers when it comes to the origin of illagers and why they sometimes turn blue sheep red.

How to summon an Illusioner in Minecraft:
1. Turn on the ‘cheats’ option before entering your world.
2. Open the chat window.
3. Type the command: /summon illusioner
4. Once the cheat has been entered, the Illusioner will spawn and appear in your world.

    I actually grew to like Illagers after I caught one in a boat and Harrmen lived outside my window for nearly a year. When I finally got around to making an Iron farm he hopped right in the Minecart as if he knew just what I needed. I even put a sign underneath that read "Harrmen's Iron Farm" because he was the one running it.😊

    I’d guarantee that the people commenting about the Minecraft lore made that before full watching the video, there is no discussion about the in-universe Minecraft lore outside of Legends but that’s said to a myth that you can interrupt to be true or false and the worship of chickens and gardening but that’s also interruption
    However the fact that the Mantacore is the inspiration of the Ravager supports the idea that Ravagers are originally villagers, so that’s cool
    This is a just a developer commentary
    Anyways I hope to see more of the illagers soon like the unused Illusioner, the illagers from Dungeons like the Wind Caller and the Iceologer Chillager from the Mov Vote
    RIP MC Dungeons BTW
    That game deserved better

    im the biggest fan of the illagers and i absolutly want a big update just for them, like, some more lore about them and the link with the Ancient city, more structures in their theme, i'd like them to expand even in the nether and have like a war with the piglins ecc…

    Please minecraft do something like this…

    Woodland mansion is one of the best structures in Minecraft, and I love illagers. They are one of 3 big Minecraft civilisations together with villagers and piglins.
    I hope we will see an icologer and rascal in the game too.

    Illagers and Villagers always struck me as a parallel to Drow and Elves.

    Instead of fantastical cave dwellers and tree huggers with big ears, Minecraft's has big foreheads and silly-looking noses that remind you of Squidward.

    We love them all the same, regardless.

    Here's hoping there'll one day be an Illager Pantheon! (It'd certainly explain why the Deep Dark and The End have similar color palettes!)

    The Woodland Mansion needs I think an update, sometimes you can see that the structure is old, I'm not saying that old is bad, I'm saying, It doesn't quite fit into the style of let's call it "modern" Minecraft

    Ohhh so that explains the story of the Illagers, villagers became sick and turned into Illagers. It makes perfect sense for people or animals that become ill or sick. I never thought about that!
    1:40 Ohhh yeah Dungeons was a very great game.
    3:41 Defeat the captain, get the Bad Omens Effect for a Village Raid.
    5:29 Seeing that makes me wish we get a new mob of Pirate Illagers for a beach village raid. That’d be awesome!

    I hope they at least add Frostmancer as replacement for the Iceologer!!
    It has 20HP and summons Ice Spikes that cause 6 hearts of damage on hard mode and has a light blue coat and a blue ice crown!!
