Minecraft Winter Drop | Resin Blocks, Eyeblossom & More!

I think now that the resin thing is in the game I think the creaking shouldn't emit particles. That'd make it harder to spot its tree.

Another thing I wish they did would be that instead of just standing there it'd disappear and reappear behid you after taking a few hits. Though I assume that's against the intended design.

While i like the idea of new building items and decor as much as anyone else, i do wish there was some sort of practical usage of resin, or at least some interesting ways to find it? It could work well as an archaeology item.

So the flowers can be poisonous to Bees, but Fireflies being poisonous to frogs is no no. Okay Mojang.

I see what there doing. Before people were asking “well if it’s so dangerous at night in this biome why go in there?”. Well the creaking is now needed to farm resin and the new eye blossom only found in the biome means you have legit reasons to go into the pale garden even at night.

I really hope we'll be able to dye resin. It would essentially give us 16 colour combinations for bricks, stairs, and walls, which would be a godsend for themed builds

I need to test how much damage it will give in hard mode… But it should AT LEAST be more than a Zombie's. As of right now, the creaking is barely an inconvenience.

Also resin placement on blocks would be better if you could add it more once on the same block.

dyed resin would be sick, even if you could just place it down, and not craft it into blocks

It'd be really cool if instead of making Pale Oak fireproof, they make it burn fast with a low spread chance. Meaning the trees would burn away really fast, but the fire wouldn't spread to more trees. Or even just leave the tree half burnt. Minecraft already has burn speed and spread chance so it wouldn't be a hard change either. Plus it'd still be an interesting niche since in theory you could create something like a fuse with it if it burns fast enough.

I like how resin has to be collected, that’s interesting. I dunno how I feel about the resin blocks; they look a little weird but new blocks are basically always a good thing (even if I get overwhelmed on creative nowadays). The flowers seem really cool!

I think this is a great step in the right direction, I’d still love to see the flowers actually glow so they look more like the creaking eyes, and if there could be a way to keep creakings alive all the time for redstone purposes that’d be awesome. Maybe a hanging miss variant with the same eyes too, so it’s closer to the height of actual creaking eyes. And fog, fog would be really cool

I'm a little sad the resin is such a vibrant orange, when we already have so many orange blocks but no yellow blocks, that can be turned into stairs.

This is so cool, but I wish it was another color (or dyeable?) We have so much orange. I'd really love some better blues, purples, or greens.

This is underwhelming, but at the same time perfect for around this time of year. October is orange after all.

I hope they add a way to prevent the changing of the flower state in the overworld. Like how you can wax copper. (Maybe use resin in some way?)
