  1. Ah yes, this one. I got some stories to tell about this mod.

1: What happened? Google this: "VK bismuthmod", you'll find their VK where the top past explains their reasons for abandoning the mod (you'll need google translate if you cannot read Russian)

But long story short: They got busy in life and decided with the release of 1.4 they were gonna call modding quits, as Bismuth is a mod with a really, REALLY terrible underlying codebase, so bad the authors refused to work with it any further and dropped the mod. (I'm not joking, decompile the mod and take a look at some of the code, the code for the Skill tree is truely atrocious, onpar with the infamous Red Code lol)

2: Terrible coding aside, this mod had ALOT of great ideas and amazing spritework as you can see in this video, to me personally, it gave me Twilight Forest (Minecraft) Vibes in terms of the kind of content it delivered and it just sorta… ended when it started getting really good.

3: They didn't leave any kind of will or permissions for anyone else to pick up/use the content from this mod, so it's in the water for good unless the devs come back and do something about it.

Again, a real shame, if polished and cared for this mod could have been something amazing, but alas, it is but a memory that lives on in 1.3 now.

  2. Ow man. I thought it was ported to 1.4 for a moment but no:(
Still it’s not forgotten, many people use this mod in 1.3 playtroughs because of starter city and other features this mod has
