Bcs from quartz u can get xp+ its been there for really long, now people want more survival content but back then they liked a lot of building materials. And lapis is good at enchanting

I wish copper was used for building related tools aswell, like a copper wrench that rotates blocks

Copper and Quartz are meant to be blocks used for building, which is why they don’t need any other use. The only reason Lapis has a block is to save inventory space because of how much you can get from a single vein of ore.
