Description of the idea: I want one piston to stand up like 1 second, then move down and the other piston moving up 1 second. When the 2nd piston moves down, the 1st is pushed up for 1 second, etc.

Just build a clock and connect the pistons to opposite ends.
Or connect them to the same end and put one on a red stone torch.

A clock? With 2 4 ticks repeaters and a 2 tick repeater, the total 2 times

You could use the concept that oppositely lit up copper bulbs will switch when they are both powered at the same time.
It’s more cost efficient to just use a redstone torch, but copper bulbs are cooler 😎
