There should also be a loom in there somewhere too. Maybe a chest with some low level loot but nothing extraordinary. These are “trial ruins”.
Ultimately though, you’re supposed to have a brush and look for gravel that looks slightly different than regular gravel. Its called “suspicious gravel” and if you brush it, something will reveal itself. It could be anything from a wooden hoe, emeralds, pottery sherds, or a sniffer egg.
If you are shoveling gravel and hear a sound like broken pottery when it breaks and no gravel drops from it, you broke a suspicious gravel.
