The easiest way would be to remove as many blocks as possible without harming the design of the farm as to minimise the spawns, or just get a cobalt shield and some good minions.

Extend your walls further so they cant spawn on the sides, then lay some venom traps (dart trap + spider fang) to kill those spawning on the floor.
Wait ur in PHM, the dart trap on timers, there arent any spider fangs before WoF.

I would just add the farm higher up, levitating or onto platforms. Or you can destroy some blocks
