I’m tryna make a mod pack for my own use and when I loaded it up my villagers and other entities had super low FPS, but particle effects, movement, and everything else seemed to be completely fine. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix?

Your tps is dying
It is not FPS, it’s a simulation lag. I’ve had a similar issue, my game was lagging because of crows from Alex’s mobs. You need to [figure out yourself](https://docs.minecraftforge.net/en/latest/misc/debugprofiler/) what mod is causing the issue.
minecraft do be gaming on a single thread.
I usually use “spark” mod and use the “/spark profiler open” command to open the server status and see what mod is overloading the thread.
