  1. I wouldn’t blame them, there was a very clear intent on pushing it solely for more monetization, but somehow Bedrock is always the buggier / less supported version that’s constantly plagued with problems, which leaves me wondering why they even bother with it.

    They should’ve just built upon Java as best they could, hell I’m convinced that all the so called “weaker updates” are a result of them having to spend extra time making the same update for multiple versions of the game.

    In its current state, forcing console players to use bedrock to have access to the newest updates might have been the biggest mistake they ever made. They should just pick between supporting Java or Bedrock and drop the other entirely.

  2. Mojang loves bedrock, it makes them the most money by far. The big reason they are working on feature parody is to eventually deprecate Java edition (there will be riots in the street) and have just bedrock. The reason they don’t bring over many Java features (modding, actual custom skins, version time travel, etc) is because they don’t want it in the overall game but know people will riot if they don’t have them in Java
