I’ve been really struggling with hard mode, but I’ve finally beat it and it’s like I unlocked god mode lol. I’m starting to feel a little mad with power haha
The first hard play-through is the most difficult, but after it gets easier (the special gun upgrade helps a lot). At a certain point, there’s so many enemies it doesn’t matter if the lives are reduced, they end up appearing pretty frequently (the most I got was 30).
Killing all the enemies at spawn, and watching power-ups/coins/lives continuously pour through the spawn tiles (most notable on the last graveyard stage) is pretty cool honestly (maybe I’ll try to record it?).
It started feeling like a different game the farther I got, again, there’s just so many things. Even the max upgrades started not feeling like enough and I had to rely on chaining power-ups, but maybe I just need to get better.
Is it possible to beat it on normal mode with no upgrades? It could be good practice for hard mode…
