Me personally, I am a newbie who alphas only ever beat the game once and it was with a more experienced friend. I took a while choosing my class and settled on summoner because I liked how I didn’t have to constantly fight off enemies when fishing or just afk ing. Even now, I still find it my favorite. The only thing for me is that I can’t really play well with only summon items. I usually carry around a sword or a bow in case I want to actually fight a bit more. Apparently I’m really good with a bow so I use it in early game for the most part. (Btw I play on Xbox)

I can tell u if u want i know everything about summonar class its my main class in terraria. Are u asking to start a summonar run?
It’s probably the best class for people who just like to build and afk, nothing better than having a sixty foot dragon bodyguard while building a dope castle.
It’s the best and most fun class to play for me personally. Also, Terraprisma+Spooky armor is absolutely busted against Moon Lord.
It’s my favorite class , although it’s just a paper in a scissors party. You die so fast that becomes annoying. But it’s the funniest and better looking class in the entire game
