I really enjoyed playing the old defend the nexus mod (Invasions) and I was wondering how I would go about finding someone that can port it into the newest version of Minecraft?

The biggest annoyance with ports is that minecraft code changes drastically, so from an old version to a new one you basically gotta make the mod from scratch back up again.
Depending on the mod it can be a lot of work. That mod hasn’t been updated since 1.7.10 so it’s very old. It would probably require completely remaking it honestly.
