I don’t get it. Is it because you thought Wall Of Flesh would come from the right side but since it came from the left you got surprised, but then you got even more surprised at the damage you did with the laser gun? Very lucky!

Iirc, WOF comes from the direction you’re facing when the guide dies from lava damage. Looks like you turned around, so even though you threw it to the right, you were facing left.
Also, ye. Zapinator RNG can do some bonkers damage
