I think having a new type of mushroom in the Pale Garden would be neat. I made this little Ink Cap, and thought it would make a fine addition to the already eerie environment.
These could be used to brew potions with new effects or have other interesting mechanics, thus adding another reason worth visiting the new biome.
If we want to go further, these Ink Caps could come to life as passive little shroomlings when the player is not looking (but could be tricked into motion when certain conditions are fullfilled)
