  1. Usually – in software updates – point releases fix minor things .. but here? whole new biomes and mobs and game mechanics..

this has been an issue for running a server for quite some time now.

  2. It'd be a really cool mechanic if pale oak saplings had a really small chance of spawning a creaking heart when grown, tho it'd make tree farming a little risky ๐Ÿ˜†

  3. I understand they had the idea to create a biome equivalent of dark oak forest, but it feels uninspired. I'm all for the redesign of the trees and ACTUALLY making them into willows.

  4. Instead of the edge of a dark oak forest i wish it was in the center of it, big large dark oak forest with a center of pale garden.

  5. So a lot of people are saying they should add fog to the region. I disagree.
I think they should add a fog debuff to the region which would function similarly to the darkness effect you get in the deep dark biome. I also think it should be linked to the creaking hearts specifically.

  6. I said this on Phoenixโ€™s video, and Iโ€™ll say it here, I think it would be awesome if the pale garden was able to spread. Similar in concept to the evil terraria biomes

  7. I think the spawning of the creaking should be changed, because it makes the mob not interesting to play with beyond just normal exploration. If they made it so that it always spawns at night, but during the day it spawns on tiles with a certain light level, and maybe despawn if directly under the sky (with no obstructing block). that way we could use them to make mini games which are not time of day dependant

  8. Experimental features are cool and all but why canโ€™t they be โ€œtoggleableโ€ so to speak, after a world thatโ€™s already been created?
I have a survival world that I canโ€™t use new features on like the restore upgrades, or (previously) bundles, now this! And yeah sure I know there is a way to push it into the worldโ€™s files, but give us a streamline way to add these options.

  9. Pale garden just needs an underground version of it located right under.
With giant roots of pale oak wood , pale moss. Big caves with upside down pale trees at the ceiling

  10. I wish you could modify the creaking hearts making it go after hostiles or specific people for example. Heck maybe even make more spawn or do more damage even. Even cooler, dying it effects the eye color of the creaking.

  11. The creaking is pretty easy to deal with if you know what you're doing. Since it's stationary when looked at, you can easily fence it in or dig it into a 2 block deep hole while facing it. You can then safely punch it and look for the creaking heart.

  12. Honestly, I feel like no mobs of any kind should spawn inside the pale garden besides the creaking at night, it would make it really stand out as odd and strange compared to other biomes in the game, also some ambient fog that shrouds the pale garden, sorta like the lost woods in breath of the wild would also be cool me thinks

  13. I would love if the creaking heart had more uses if you got it. Maybe with redstone? Since the creaking mob is a weeping angel, the creaking heart could be an observation sensor, that would emit a weak redstone signal when looked at by a player.

  14. I have to say, this creaking update is really creative and I like the new gameplay they are adding. Only critique I have is that they copied the dark oak shape and I wouldve liked to see a new tree shape in the world. It feels to me right now a bit like a cut corner.
