BANNED Minecraft Mods…

Check out the new RedMagic Nova Gaming Tablet! – https://bit.ly/3XTMnqu

There is a small selection of minecraft mods which have been taken down from the internet. Whether that be by mojang, or by other players, the story behind these mods is quite interesting.

  1. Note that the "Jenny Mod" is still in development weirdly enough.
Mojang just told the dev that they couldn't be making money off of the mod and he handed the code off to another minecraft modder. I find it weird Mojang was like "yeah you cant make money off of it but you can keep developing it as long as its free"

  2. I suspect that mojang stopped banning R-18 mods was because that they lost so many customers after they ban Jenny and Kit of knapping. Player used to play minecraft since early 2010s are now old enough to play R-18 mods, so why stopping them?

  3. Man I remember playing on a pixelmon server way back when i was a kid where the gym leaders were just actual people, i remember getting demolished by them lol

  4. Another hater clickbait, you really dont find anything to hate about minecraft that easy anymore. Also really shows you fear saying something (anything) positive anymore :/

  5. It is not "technically" against the EULA and ToS to sell anything that derives from minecraft, it is LITERALLY against them. It's spelled out in plain english- to paraphrase "don't sell anything that contains minecraft code or trademarks without our consent, or we will stop you". I'm surprised forge labs hasn't gotten hit by mojang yet for locking maps (which are entirely made of game code) behind patreon paywalls

  6. there is NO WAY he worked 2 Years without receiving any money. You oughta be wondering after ur first month payment has been either delayed or never received!
Who in th right mind would work 2 years for free?
I smell big time Lies here!
I think he got a massive amount of money as part of a deal for a 2 year working contract. Such time based Contracts are pretty standard in Industry in germany, i can imagine sweden got similar contracts.

  7. Pixelmon…maaan. I never played the game NOR the mod but it's a shame. Really iconic mod.

Physics mod is hella cool. I still donated to the developer cause he is cool. I AM of course thankful the pro version is free though. Feel a bit sorry for the developer though.

Bukkit…wow. Many years passed. A bit sad but oh well.

Kidnapping mod? bruh, sure, why not? It's like 'capture the flag' but with people LOL. In game, it would be fun to do that with your friends. Can't say I agree with Mojang on that one.

Jenny mod…hmm. Banning shite ain't good but adults can have their fun lol.

  8. I wonder if when all the dmca stuff happened and stopped that mojang had hired a new law firm to handle things the firm was over zealous mojang tried to see their points of protecting the ip and going along with it but eventually decided the backlash wasnt worth it and ceased with that particular firm thus ending the takedown spree. Just an idea no research behind this

  9. some time earlier you could pay for patreon sub without having money, it would give error but also access to the patron content, also there are programs to rip patreon stuff for free

  10. A little tip from a developer myself, developers sometimes do dmca waves where they do a bunch of them at once after gathering an extensive list, it helps them stop workarounds by just doing them in waves like how blizzard banned 2 million players using bots all at once they do it in waves for simplifying the already annoying dmca takedown which as I've had to do it before, it's a Hassel when it's just the 1 of you so they have a massive team doing them all at once I'd assume
