  1. I still prefer they had kept the color of the Bundle as part of the NBT data, not as the type of the item itself. That would allow for more colors of bundles.
    seeing the changes they did for the boat and chest boat, however, seem to indicate that they want to rely as little on NBT data when possible.

    Update on the portal in the ancient city
    New Biome being really weary and gloomy with new trees or some structure
    New Mob being as tough as Warden
    New Mob drops??
    Or a huge turn, Pale Garden being an end update

  3. The changes to maps are actually parody changes since Bedrock has had these features forever. Although on Bedrock it shows the other player's head instead of a cursor and they don't need to be holding the map. Mob heads also make you invisible on maps. If this works with armor stands then you can put an angled cursor on your in-game decorative computer's screen? Maybe redstone masters can make a working cursor somehow.

  4. Would make a lot of sense for them to make it so that if you have the invisibility potion effect you also donโ€™t appear on maps. Even more obvious than the carved pumpkin imo, donโ€™t know why they didnโ€™t already do that lol.

I was actually going to the experience myself, but my dad (who was going on a training trip so we can visit my cousins who live in texas) said his company canceled all the buisness trainings for the year, thanlfully my cousins and their parents get to go and give me the cape when they are done

  6. So Bundles of "Bravery", The Pale Garden, The Creaking, a possible Halloween release date, AND a released sound bite of the mob growling? It sure is Spooky Season!!

  7. "The Creaking" makes me think it's a Weeping Angel-like wood-themed hostile mob that lives in the Pale Garden, especially considering the noise it makes shown off in the "ALL ABOUT MINECRAFT LIVE 2024…" video.

  8. Although I've loved almost every single thing Mojang has done recently for data packs and commands, I think the boat thing is ridiculous. We're effectively getting 16 new entities, all of which are the exact same thing apart from visual. No other entity works this way and it makes no sense. The type component worked perfectly.
    In fact, I was just making a data pack now that allowed you to place a chest into a boat to make it a boat with chest, and the type attribute was perfect to pass to the summoned entity. Now I'll have to do the same set of commands 8 more times, the only difference is the type of boat.
    Not to mention if you want to do any commands with boats, you'll have to do separate commands for each type, or add so many new entity types for excluding them. My pack will now need 81 times the amount of commands to make boats work properly after this update, where before just 7 commands worked perfectly

  9. Pale Garden feels like it might be a biome similar to Boggly Woods from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

    I imagine a plains/forest biome with a grayscale color scheme and an ominous atmosphere.

  10. I just wish they would rework existing biomes (and the end) first…anyone remember birch forest? Well, maybe we're lucky and Pale Garden is something worthwhile…

  11. I wonder if the pale garden could be am extension of the end dimension. Would be pretty cool to get more variety. Also I just love when Mojang makes biomes that are completely unique.
