When I heard "Pale garden" my mind immediately went to the End, so I can definitely get behind your feeling that it might be a new End-biome.
The Creaking sounds like a wood based mob, since the creeper is canonically plant now, maybe they're planning to add more living fauna into the game?
Cave biome? End biome? Deep dark portal dimension? I’m seeing some pretty crazy speculation about what this biome could be.

Honestly it would be foolish for Minecraft to not take advantage of the hype around an end update. The amount of players who would come to the game would be ridiculous. For me personally they killed it with the caves and cliffs but the last few updates have been kinda bland and more so extra things to do it the game so adding something that changes the routine of the gameplay would be awesome the end is in dire need of an update and it would be dumb for them to not hop on the bandwagon of everybody saying they want an end update. Also fix the regen on bedrock

It's leaves were also a light/pale ish green color

I think this was an intentional leak. I didn't even know Live was happening, I just started playing a couple few weeks ago, and now I'm hyped for it. Nothing important was leaked but enough information that videos are being made about it and people who might not have checked in live and were just waiting for updates are probably gonna check it out now. YouTubers making videos about leaks is the best marketing
The end better look like minecraft dungeons end.
I think because mojang is now doing smaller updates multiple times a year instead of one big update a year, the pale garden is going to be the first of multiple updates for the end (if it is an end biome)

When I hear the pale garden I imagine very light yellow grass and leaves with white trees and lots of tall grass. The Creaking sounds a lot like a horror mob similar to the warden. In fact it sounds very similar to a lot of creepypasta creature names. Personally i dont think this will be an end update because i dont imagine horror when i think of the end and as a lot of people have said the nethers role is to be the hostile and hellish dimension whereas the ends job is to be mysterious and alien. However i wouldnt be opposed to them making the end more horror like

Maybe the creaking will function like weeping angles, where in order to detect their movement you need to listen for the creaking of their joints.
It would be cool as there’s already a mob that relies heavily on sound and the end has a big fixation on eyes. So it would be the perfect opportunity to implement something like this 😨😨😨

I will mention, the grass in the Aether was fairly pale iirc. And there was tons of plants and was a “garden”. Dude works there and we need something for the ancient city portal

Pale Garden sounds like an End biome; specifically, I think of one of those end biomes from Minecraft Dungeons.
This biome would probably have a structure in it to counter out the Creaking mob. Or, maybe, the Creaking mob has a drop that we want, and so we head to the Pale Garden to hunt it.
The End really needs some variety, to be a destination of its own, not just a place to raid for elytra and shulker shells. Pale Garden Biome does not sound like something for the overland or Nether, so End seems a natural choice, and maybe we will now know why Endermen steal grass blocks – for their gardening hobby. I wonder what strange EndFruit, EndVeg and EndFlowers we will get.

Usually not a fan of leaks, but I also gotta say I wasn't really THAT excited for MC live this year, but these leaks have made me 100x more excited. I genuinely cant wait for Saturday!!

I'm just gonna say it, if the Pale Garden is an overworld biome. . . then this is an L update. A nether biome won't be "that" much better. I'd settle for a new cave biome tho similar to the Deep Dark/Ancient Cities. Sky biomes would be awesome but ain't no way that's happening.
the fact that both the warden and the creaking had a horror wibes gives some clues maybe they are connected maybe the creaking is what the warden is guarding.
From my speculation on other Youtubers regarding on their "oopsie" leak i think it's like Deep Dark but on the surface Overworld maybe we could get a new a tree and wood type for example Willow Trees
Creaking has to be a mob that stalks then hides when a player turns around. If that's the case i think it fits to the lore of the Deep Dark and MatPats previous theory about the ancient civilization.
Imagine if we could use wind charges to get to the Aether or the Moon

This is an overworld biome, and the creaking is a tree monster that will be found in it. No end update in sight people.

Another very important info (didn't watch your whole video so sorry if you said it already) is that Mojang's most likely working on other features than just those from the leaks. Perhaps the biome and the hostile mob is just beginning of the first of drops and the other features after is a mystery. Plus next year there will be 2 MC Live streams than just one. Even IF the leaked stuff will be the only stuff that MC Live will be talking about, given how more frequently we will have the drops, new features will also come with them.
I feel like the creaking is just gonna be a skeleton variant, disappointing maybe, but still welcome for me at least
